Agree, that comp is impressive! I can't choose a favourite track, honestly!
Just one point: as I am a big fan of Grimrik, I think his track does not match the whole atmosphere. I mean, it works great in his album but not here. I don't know why, but that's how I feel.
Ps thanks by heart, man!

thanks sir! some unreleased Sidereal Fortress has just appeared on the new "Dungeons & Catacombs" volume! Here's the link: dungeonsandcatacombs.bandcamp.comfeedback is welcome!
One of the highlights on that compilation, perhaps my favourite in there, and that's saying a lot since the whole album is very good. I like the atmosphere and the ambient, tangerinedreamesque feel.
I'm also really into the Eislandschaft, Ur Pale and Grimrik tracks in that compilation. I'm honored to have a Kasjchq track there as well.
I have the same feeling. I'm really glad we shared a compilation.

not D&C. I have read somewhere that another label is planning the full D&C Comps catalogue on tape.

In the facebook publication of the comp it says that Skaventhrone is going to release all the comps on CD. But I remember talking with the D&C guy and he said there was a possibility of releasing them through another label on tape.

Which one is your track on the compilation? I remember you were behind Mitternacht.

Eislandschaft is my winter synth project. Mitternacht, Vridd Gren and Goblintropp are my dungeon synth projects.

There's so much quality in this comp that I really feel upset being among many talented artists The most curious thing is that some people compare SF with Tangerine Dream...a band that, honestly, I know only by name. Maybe you can suggest me some of their best albums?

Maybe you can suggest me some of their best albums? Well, the TD discography is incredibly extense (and varied). I'll try to pick an album that might fulfill that comparison. Please give me some time. I just listened to Sidereal Fortress's "Escape" (I mean, once more, I'm a SF listener) and I can understand why people can compare your (great) sound with some TD albums.

Thanks for appreciation! About the comparison with TD: to be honest, someone did it first when "The Forgotten Tomb of Yshnak" was released, speaking about the closing track (the experimental one with the guitar etc). Since then, I have heard it another couple of times, about stuff like "Escape" or so.
It's maybe a "second hand influence", if you can catch what I mean: listening to stuff like Grimrik, Foglord (I really dig his "Celestial" all the time) as well as many soundtracks from the 80s.....which perhaps are in turn inspired by TD's music.....

TD probably made some of those 80s soundtracks! I think they were quite prolific in that area.
