Nintendo mini classic... I am so happy right now to have one It looked cute, but is there a pull to having one other than it being an official emulation console? Seems making a retro pi is a much easier way to go, especially considering the aftermarket for the mini classic stuff Nintendo's releasing and how difficult they are to obtain. Nope. The inly pull is that it is official nintendo. I got it from media markt for original store price. I signed up and prepaid a small sum for it. When they called and said they where dold out all over i did not do anything. I guess most signed off and got their deposits back becouse one day the store said they had one left and that i was next on their list.

I think they should've made like game carts or cards to go along with it, something like game bundles on a card you can insert into it and play so the console has more longevity rather than just having the games it comes with, similar to what SNK did with the Neo Geo X.

Playing runescape. I last played 5 or more years ago. It is the same world but things have changed. I am not sire if I am against it all.

I am playing Stardew Valley again, and I started with a new (modded) map. This is how it looks like at the first year's Winter. I will make the farming space a bit bigger and the path less crooked and wonky I think. I never expected that I would play this game so often, but it is so relaxing. I already have 160 hours in it, sigh.

Ananoriel, this looks beautiful. Still needing to play Stardew Valley on a better computer, but I'm a little worried it'll take up too much of my time. Farming games can be pretty time consuming. I'm at the end of Crash 2 and need to play through Crash 3, but I'm kind of wanting to start ESA: Battlespire for some odd reason. From what I've read, heard, and watched its not even that good.

Stardew Valley was great but I hit a certain point and there was just nothing else to do. I set a goal for myself to make an ancient fruit winery. I got a greenhouse with a bunch of ancient fruit planted, a basement full of casks for it to age, and then the ghost appeared and I'd beaten it with the highest score, so that was that. I didn't even wait for the wine to finish aging. But yeah I put a lot of hours into that game so it's definitely not a complaint, great game. Maybe some years from now I'll replay it and try some mods. I looked into mods briefly when I was playing it but couldn't find anything that really changed the gameplay much.

Maybe it is not a bad game but things have changed. I remembered how I was playing by battling big cockroach soldiers or queens or whatever in hope of a dragon claw drop. Now when I played they have changed that weapon so it is not worth it anymore. The changes they have made are probably not bad i general but they missed my specific personal details that I liked. I was never into fighting players or in arenas. I was into farming tomatoes and doing herblore and getting into the cooking guild do make cakes.

I don't like RS3 at all but I love the old school one to death. Played a ridiculous amount of it from like 5th grade to 9th grade. Had a big clan with a website, a forum, the whole deal. It has such a great feel. I was happy to see they revived the old school version later on and I played that when it first came back out but I was disappointed that they brought the grand exchange back since I feel that's one thing that killed the atmosphere and fun of it, how you can go to one single place and automatically buy literally anything that's trade-able with no effort, no seeking. I liked the exchange format of Varrock square before, bank sales, stuff like that. Making items more difficult to obtain added a realism to it. Some players even specialized in selling select types of items and that was the role they played in the game, but now everything is automatic. People can still alter the economy of it and the supply side by putting a ton of items in the GE, but that seems boring if you're not selling them yourself. I haven't checked in forever, but I thought it'd be kool to have servers where there is no grand exchange and you can make a character restricted to those GE-less servers only so there's no cross contamination of trading, sellers can't stock up on like team capes in a GE server and sell them on a non-GE server. Kind of like a 'hardcore' mode. I might go back and look around as well. We could easily have a whole RS thread here.

I continued playing No Man's Sky after a year and a couple of "big" updates. The game hasn't changed, it's still basically a walking simulator in largely static worlds. Overhyped for sure, but the fantasy sci-fi worlds are perfectly suited to lazy exploration whilst listening to music in the background. A pretty perfect way of emptying my saved albums in Spotify, hah.

A pretty perfect way of emptying my saved albums in Spotify, hah. I don't mind walking simulators at all, I enjoy them very much actually, but from what I've read and seen about NM'S, it's largely boring for at least half of the game. It seemed that you were pretty much getting the hang of things and fiddling around for a good portion of it until you're able to do more story-related things. The generation of lifeforms seemed a bit limited as well (I think I remember it cycling through a library of anatomy components, where you'd start to see similar things), but they may have fixed things. There was an annoyance with the inventory as well, unrealistically small. Seemed like a big budget game that fell short. I guess for a walking simulator though, it's more robust than many since most can be completed in upwards of 6 hours. Unfinished Swan was good, but it's more focused than like Gone Home or Dear Esther. I strongly recommend Everybody's Gone to the Rapture if you like that style, but you'll want to listen in to the game. Not sure if you're on PC or PS4.

I have at least 2 different bought(boxes) versions of Morrowind and never got to get through it yet unfortunately. Need to retry again soon. Avernum is said to be hardcore which some years ago could be a good thing for me but now with time restrictions I don't even think I can get near it. Sorcery I'll google, guess I missed that. And indeed all GTAs from 3 to today is always solid gooood times !!! Secluded I must have more than 2500 hours on D3 but quit completely a year back. With Necromancer I got back in but wasn't excited and played only a couple of days and got off. Haven't uninstalled it though so anytime I might jump in again. Best Action RPG ever especially cooperative!!! Pure hack n slash had a great great time with the game. WAiting for my SNES mini to arrive hopefully before the weekend.
