any tip for setting up a Sidereal Fortress live show? I mean: ok with pre-recorded backing tracks, on CD or whatever, but in DS almost each song features a different lead sound...so...do you switch plugins or presets during the show to play the main track live? I've seen it done different ways. Some artists just play the lead track live while the other pre-recorded tracks play in the background. I've also seen loop pedals used to play live repeated tracks and the artists build on those sounds more live modulate them, though this wouldn't work for everyone. If you're playing backing track audio, I suppose your options would be to either pause between tracks to rest your equipment, create transition backing tracks to give you time to readjust, or plan your tracks to be easily flow into each other where switching instruments can be quick and seamless. We have artists in here who've done different stuff, I'm sure they could help out.

Thanks. I think the easiest way is to have instrument tracks opened with VSTIs loaded (then switching them between songs) to play melodies live, and a seamless backing track of the whole setlist. Anyone of you ever experienced this method?

That's probably what I'd do

Just wanted to say huge thanks to the posters in this thread. Plotting out a live setup for Encloaked (hopefully a 2020 live debut?) and the videos + comments have been quite helpful.

Hey Jeff, be sure to let me know about it if you intend to stream it, I would love to see that, taking into consideration that your music is slightly more difficult than most DS.
