DDC's new album, Brutalist Conqueror is available now! Eight tracks and 40 minutes of nihilistic, powerful dungeon folk and martial electronics... this is by far the most diverse DDC release so far, with the traditional elements intertwined with industrial noise, power electronics, lush 80's synth layers and even techno! The album can be purchased as a download at Bandcamp, and the physical CDr release can be bought directly from me, or alternatively for a slightly higher price via Bandcamp, but you get the download as well that way. You can also stream the album via Spotify:

My newest album, Tears That Weep Autumn, is now available for streaming on Spotify and all the other usual streaming platforms, and for download via Bandcamp. 8 tracks and 38 minutes of dark, melancholic, romantic and autumnal dungeon synth, neofolk and neoclassical. It is also available in two physical formats: as a CDr and a postcard, both available via Bandcamp. The postcard comes with a digital copy of the album, and you can choose if you want the postcard sent to you blank in an envelope, or with a custom greeting/dedication.

My new album is out now! Dieux Des Cimetières - Love Is The Law; eight tracks and just under 34 minutes of romantic, melancholic, martial neoclassical dungeon synth and neofolk. Themes and atmospheres range from epic and bombastic to melancholic, wistful and introvert. Alongside original compositions contains renditions of two Finnish-Swedish traditional folk songs. Love, war and nihilism. Available as digital download and CDr via BandCamp, streaming via Spotify, Deezer, Google Play etc. cimetieres.bandcamp.com/album/love-is-the-lawIf anyone writes for a webzine, fanzine, blog, journal or other some such and would like to review the album, get in touch and I'll provide you with a promo pack. ALSO: the entire discography is still available at a pretty nice 80% discount! This means you can get the new album and the three previous albums + all seven EP's for just 8.80 EUR. That's a pretty good deal right there! :AHNF:

A surprise release from DDC! I just released a new single/EP called A Coming Fire on Bandcamp. Link here. "In the first months of World War I, Kaiser Wilhelm II of Germany held a speech to his people, in which he ensured his subjects of the justification of their aggression and assured them of coming victory in this “war to end all wars”. Europa burned, as it had before. Only a few decades later, Europa would burn again in the terrible flames of the Second World War.History has a hunger for blood, and teaches us no lessons we are willing to learn. Europa will burn again, as it has before.A Coming Fire is a promotional single released in October 2019, which features three tracks from an upcoming full-length album. The title track, which opens the release, commences with an excerpt from the aforementioned speech by Kaiser Wilhelm II – setting the tone for the entirety of the release. The second track, Marching Under Banners Of Blood, expands upon the theme of futile recurrence of conflict. Featuring excerpts from a Second World War era anti-German propaganda movie, it asks the question who sends men to die, and for what? Europa burns time and time again, but for what purpose? The final track on the single, Kein Schöner Land In Dieser Zeit, explores the noble futility of fighting for a crushed cause – partisans, guerrillas and ragtag remnants of military outfits carrying on beyond all hope, beyond all chance of victory. The inevitable outcome of a total war.The full album, which is as of yet untitled and will hopefully be completed in late 2019 or early 2020, will feature several tracks in addition to these three. It will expand upon the themes of the futility and inevitability of war, and the ultimate emptiness of human endeavours. The full album will also musically expand on the tracks on the single, with a focus on orchestral martial industrial with plenty of vocals but also expanding into especially neofolk; the dungeon synth elements of previous releases are somewhat obscured in the new material."If you write for a zine, website, blog or such; or have a podcast, radio show etc.; or run a label, and would like to review, feature (etc.) the release, get in touch! I have made a small amount of physical copies of the single, and will be sending them out as promos.

I really enjoyed these three and added them to my ever-growing playlist of DS.. You have your own unique style, more open and experimental which is needed very much too!! Cheers!

It's official now: the mighty Steinklang Industries will release DDC's new album, EUROPEAN FIRE, a bit later this spring, as a six-panel digipak CD limited to 100 copies. Pre-orders along with three preview tracks are now up on the label's Bandcamp and webstore. This album focuses more on the neoclassical martial industrial elements in DDC's sound whilst toning down both the neofolk and dungeon synth elements. It also features more vocals than any previous DDC album, with six out of ten tracks having vocals. This album is the best representation of what I have always aimed for with DDC, and as such I am very happy to have it released by a fine label such as Steinklang. steinklangindustries.bandcamp.com/album/dieux-des-cimeti-res-european-fire-1-jun-2020underground-alliance.com/DIEUX-DES-CIMETIERES-European-Fire-CD
