Original Thread name: New album from Garvalf: "The hollow Earth" (Taril Ibelüe)
The midwinter solstice brings with its mist, coldness and snow some reminiscences from the moisty autumn, during which Garvalf recorded his first Dungeon Synth album. "The hollow Earth" is traditional Dungeon Synth echoing a wandering through the underground world of the region of Ivkapel, a fantasy and heathen land where hostile magicians and gorgeous sorceresses rule. It was released on Bandcamp the 21st december 2017: garvalf.bandcamp.com/album/the-hollow-earth

Today I've released a new album: Corps Célestes.
This album is less in a "Dungeon Synth" mood than the previous ones, but it still keeps some touches and inspirations of the genre, revisiting some classics and exploring new fields.
I've also released the full score for the music (more than 100 pages!).

Beautiful stuff Garvalf, stunning counterpoint throughout. The weaving flutes on Dame au Griffon are so enchanting. I thoroughly enjoyed listening.

Here is a new Garvalf release, it's a concept album, a single track conceived as an epic set against the backdrop of Zephyr's home world, and his exploration of the mountains of the Adelfadelt region to find a lost artefact. garvalf.bandcamp.com/album/la-tourGarvalf resumes his usual style, mixing melodies of folk ambiance, with darker passages in the style of the most traditional Dungeon Synth... Press review : There is also a patch available (same link as above)

The gathering of Maelifell and Garvalf, which was planned at the end of the 90's, finally came to fruition in the year 2022, shortly after the vain assaults of the material world seemed to show a new kind of paroxysm, confirming the relevance of the paths chosen by the two artists. This "split album" of French Rural Synth therefore proposes two journeys at the crossroads of the spiritual and imaginary worlds.
