Hello all, i wanted to share a side project that i recently completed - Erszébet, a project of Wampyric/vampiric DS exploring some romantic and gothic sounds - piano, organ, and string pads, paired with lots of live vocals, chanted and sung. Recorded to 4 track cassette this week. erszebet.bandcamp.com/album/ersz-bet

Awesome album. It reminded me to the dark ambient albums that I was always searching for between 1998 and 2004. I liked the instrumentation, and also it's remarkable how a story is told with almost no lyrics.

Awesome album. It reminded me to the dark ambient albums that I was always searching for between 1998 and 2004. I liked the instrumentation, and also it's remarkable how a story is told with almost no lyrics. Thanks! I experimented with some narrative vocals on the last Nahadoth tape, and it was difficult to choose simple words that conveyed the atmosphere correctly. But this theme gave a lot of focus to the writing and made it possible to come up with lyrics very quickly. And this project gave me an excuse to use my old Yamaha organ on a DS project for the first time. this is exciting. thanks for taking the vampire approach. that cover though......sublime. Appreciate it! I used a photocopier, scissors and glue for the layout, then scanned the final product. a little more time consuming but more fun to get the result.

Just finished listening, and I enjoyed it quite a bit, great old school sound. I need to get caught up on this vampire stuff.

Is there a wampyr thread going on anywhere? Did a chart end up getting done for that I was gonna start a thread here but then ended up forgetting and just listening to lamentation instead. Would definitely be worth starting one.

100% abandoned castle vibes. I'm feelin crossbows, dark hallways, sconces, weird old portraits. Sick record man

Listening now, wonderful so far. Loving the bells and subtle violin. There's a lot of texture here. Really like the fangs on the cover, too. I'll definitely pick a tape of this up once you make them.
