One of my all-time favourite tracks, and one of the saddest. The piano version is actually more sad than the one you listen to playing the game (which, on the other hand, would be more suited for this forum).

man, you named one of the songs I'm most bound to. I first heard this beautiful rendition in 1993 when a great Spanish rock band named Heroes Del Silencio used it as introduction for their (awesome) live shows. And let me tell you this: at that time there was no internet, so it took me years of research just to know WHO was the author/performer of that incredible song. You gave me back great memories, thank you!

This song always gets some tears to brim in my eyes, though I'm not sure if it's "sadness" per se: Cluster & Eno - SchΓΆne HΓ€nde (1977), part of this fabulous album
