Nes turns to Veldeen. "Apparently a large, four legged lizard with the power to petrify men is loose in the sewers of this town. Kobolds, a sewer beast, a strange hooded figure -- I don't think that this is all a coincidence."

Veldeen stoops to investigate the items dislodged from the Kobold, now that the guardsman has stopped kicking it. Another curious human tradition, attacking a corpse. "Maybe this will give us some answers"
((I assume the DM is the one who decides what the items mentioned are?))

Er Nu wipes the blood stains off of his face with the sleeve of his shirt. "Good morning."

(My english is not sufficient enough to join you but I must say that this RPG text-based idea within a Dungeon Synth forum is just one of the most brilliant thing ever: I'll read your adventure with delight!)

I don't waste time to acquaint myself with Nedzer the Ominous and Er Nu the Old. Nevertheless I have a natural affinity with Nedzer, since we are both halflings and fighters, but I am at the same time thrilled and weirded out by such queer Elven-folk. I tell them that I have to get my gear back from a hooded figure, and quick. I cholerically run back to the stairway in which I got threatened by the now late vagrant. Er Nu and Nedzer choose to follow me. We start to go up the stairs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (My english is not sufficient enough to join you but I must say that this RPG text-based idea within a Dungeon Synth forum is just one of the most brilliant thing ever: I'll read your adventure with delight!) I thought I had pretty ok writing skills in English, but now I doubt it, since I need at least 15 minutes to write three lines of text.

Er Nu nods at Nedzer. "Clearly he knows something about the source of the disturbance. We should go investigate, and put a stop to it, by force if necessary," he says with a grin, then proceeds to swiftly follow Ky Gahn the Mysterious.

Ned is thrilled to see his stone connect with the Kobold's face. He is pleased to see that his Dwarven militia training has not yet abandoned him.
He quickly hustles over to the fallen corpse, past the astonished and congratulatory humans, and begins digging out his stone from the ruined skull. It is a beautiful example of a striated rose quartz and he is certainly not going to leave it in the brain-cavity of some filthy monster. Once this is done, he will pat down the corpse for any useful items. "Finders, Keepers" is the Law of the Dwarven Prospectors.
Assuming this is all completed successfully, he will go over to where Nes & Veldeen are addressing the human Guardsman. Assuming he overhears the part about the giant petrifying lizard, he responds brusquely: "And why should I risk my neck for you, human, short though it be? There had better be a reward in it - for I crave gems, of great size and lustre! and precious metals, as well!"

((all of your english is fine and once we start speaking in elvish, this will be even better))
Nedzer, Ky, and Er Nu make their way up the stairs being careful of their surroundings. In front of you is a long hallway with a closed door at the end to the left and right of this hallway are doors in either wall. The left door is also closed while the right is open. A breeze can be felt filling the hallway and a faint smell of sulphur burning carries through the air. A commotion outside also travels through the upstairs of the inn including words like "stone" and "lizard".
Nedzer, Ky, and Er Nu are investigating the upstairs
Veldeen, Ned and Nas are deciding what to do outside about the lizard

Nedzer tentatively knocks on the left door and waits for an answer.

Nedzer hears a faint voice from the other side. "oh please do come in, I am in need of assistance from...strong adventurers...."
Er Nu glances at an empty and trashed room with papers scattered on the floor. The loose clutter flutters in the breeze across overturned furniture and broken glass from a now open window looking out onto the backside the back of the tavern.

Ky is furious over the response of the left door, kicks it, curses the son of a whore and demands his stuff back.
