Oh, you could've heard the whole thing on Twitch tv earlier tonight
The album seems to be quite the mix of powerful, majestic and creepy music (all in one track at one point, actually!), along with medieval and neo-ambient stuff. Suddenly near the end they sang, which I forgot they did, as Naginah said they aim to have one track per album have vocals on it (!). Kind of like the death metal band Bolt Thrower that had the exact same intro on "Embers", "The Powder Burns" and "Cenotaph", they had one melody bleed into two tracks in a row, which after a while it made a dramatic turn with drums. Lotta real instruments played too, which has been one of their many strong points.

Such a nice and strong intro Naginah, can't wait to listen to the new release!! Respect also for the videoclip rpg aesthetics and if I get it right "Realms" as well as the logo of Sombre Arcane in the videoclip is a reference to F.Realms ? Either way can't wait to listen tomorrow! Thank You! Yes you are absolutely correct. This album is a giant nod to the homebrew 1st/2nd edition Forgotten Realms Campaign that is how we met and have been spending our Mondays for about 9 years. Wait until you see the physical release, there will be no question as to the reference!

^You're welcome, you two are a unique duo and this is a strong, good album from what I've heard (I missed the first few tracks but of course I could go listen to them now). This album is a giant nod to the homebrew 1st/2nd edition Forgotten Realms Campaign that is how we met and have been spending our Mondays for about 9 years. Holy crap, that's some staying power/replay value there!
