Oh yes! I would love to join this. I am a big fan of Tolkien and I had heard about the RPG, it was something on my try out list for a long time.

This sounds awesome but I don't think I'd be able to keep up with multiple games at the same time.

This sounds awesome but I don't think I'd be able to keep up with multiple games at the same time. So the other happenstance game is more of a test and I was going to see how this played out and then run another game if people are interested. the Swords and Wizardry game also has a high likelihood of death and I am amazed no one has died yet. Seriously.

I'm just saying it'd be hard for me to follow more than one game if dungeonsnake, you, and verminaard all end up running them at the same time.

Easy, we all collaborate and make an MMORPG pen and paper game where there are multiple games and systems operating int he same universe and DS creators make the soundtrack. THIS COULD WORK PEOPLE....or we just let the One Ring grow on its own without starting 5 different games.

Truth, I played OSR with my Pathfinder group and they died via 8 goblins in a room because they thought they could be superheroes. One you die in Happenstance then you play another game. Itll be like bootcamp.

I did it here. and exported it as a forum code azrapse.es/tor/sheet.htmlYou have to save the code and load it if you want to make changes and it cant be the forum code. Easy to handle and tackle than trying to read the book and make a character. I do not know half of the things on this sheet.

Oh, awesome! A note though -- just look through the cultures, etc, and get an IDEA of what you want to make, don't necessarily attempt to make the characters yet. Once we have everyone signed up and character concepts locked in, I'll show you guys through character gen. An important reason for this is we first need to establish everything about why the characters have formed a Fellowship and the like, where you guys are based, etc.

Wonderful! I'll send you a message on Facebook. That is 3 out of 6 player slots filled, and the game WILL run now, no matter how many more we get.

I would love to play! please reserve a spot for me! I actually perused this rulebook recently so I feel inspired the rules are quite a bit different than what i'm used to (D&D & D&D-derivatives, BRP &derivatives) so i'm still getting the hang of it. might need some help with chargen but i'll cross the bridge when it's time. Just tentatively, I'd like to play a DΓΊnedain descendant of Arnor. but i understand if that is not feasible.
