Ugh, would have loved to have had the chance to see Christian Death live with Rozz.

I highly recommend this modern act for nailing the death rock vibe. Lockhowl

Hello. If someone's interested, I uploaded really old tracks of mine (the most ancient have been recorded in 1993, I was 13-14 at that time...) in a purely The Cure / Joy Division / 4AD style.

I always loved Anti-Nowhere League's approach on some kind of "poppy yet epic post-punk". While they are more known for their street punk stuff, their "The Perfect Crime" album and the "Out On The Wasteland" EP are completely apart from that punk sound. The title track of the album to me as a masterpiece of a song giving me absolute goosebumps. Have a listen heer (it's the album opener) :
Also Spear of Destiny gets me everytime with their fantastic "Never take me alive". The last third of this song, man...

One of my favourite goth bands is UK Decay. So damn groovy for what it is.

Tollund Men was a band that existed in several genres, post-punk, noise, cold wave. Now defunct, but an early demo has recently been released. The other releases on the Auto-da-Fé label are varied, but generally very experimental. It's the label of Neal Samples, (ex-Tollund Men).

I feel like post punk has been coming back for 10 years or so now. I've noticed a trend in european punk scenes with all these new bands coming up and even hardcore d-beat bands have made very post punky stuff. Here's a couple of tracks I recommend checking out:

I'm in love with SOUTHERN DEATH CULT these days
They later became THE CULT, which have a bunch of über-beautiful songs too
