Great episode, was hoping thekeeper would show up as a guest ever since your podcast started. Also the hacking up a lung in the background was pretty funny. I just got over a cold so I can relate.

I noticed you released all interviews for NYP on bandcamp, midnightambience.bandcamp.com/album/year-i-compilation EXCELLENT one mate, great to have them available and download (I got them in ogg vorbis else its a huge download and don't need quality in lofi interviews ) !! Excellent choice, this should be encouraged people to release off youtube stuff for online play!!

I had to do some magic to get most of it all up in one piece. I'm glad you like that it is available to download!! All future interviews will also be posted on bandcamp as well.

I had no idea a thing like this existed. I'm glad this bumped up since I've been looking for speech stuff to listen to while working on stuff, commuting etc. and feeling too fatigued for music. Thanks! I'll get right to it.

I got caught up with the last three episodes at work recently, great stuff! Malfet seems like an awesome dude, definitely has some great taste, totally agreed on Sephiroth/Ulf Söderberg, Nest, and Hate Forest - Temple Forest (I've heard that Roman Saenko had no part in making that though, apparently the "proper" rerelease is Arthur - Blackstarblood, kind of confusing). I totally understand not liking Dauði Baldrs, but I'm quite surprised you don't love Hliðskjálf considering those other influences and Malfet itself (which is great imo btw). The mental health stuff was very interesting, and I'm glad you guys got a bit into religion despite a bit of resistance to touching on that topic. Vaelastrasz seems really cool. I remember seeing his original DS comedy video that introduced him to the community and even then I thought it was fun and wasn't bothered by it. Despite being involved in the meme stuff, he still seems pretty hardcore and dedicated to the classics and history. Mistveil supports comfy synth and therefore is my enemy. Jk, I enjoyed that episode because it was interesting hearing the perspective of one of these young full-on memester kids.

Been enjoying these lately. Was awesome to hear Shane's thoughts and Min from Vaelastrasz seems like a lot of fun to talk with.
