If anyone has any recent information about this project, do feel free to contact me. They seem to be active again on VK, but my Russian isn't very applaudable - to say the least.

Excellent but short (I hoped it was longer ) interview!! I greatly enjoy interviews , reminds me of fanzines and stuff... Also even better if you listen stuff from the artist at the same time!! I just wanted to repost a very very nice quote from Torchlight at the end of your interview : " DS music has no lyrics, so what it wants to express is not caged by alphabetic language. The music speaks and allows us to meet in the realms of imagination. Long live Dungeon Synth! "
Very nicely told..

Ha! Thank you! I was worried it would be too long, since most people aren't really used to reading interviews anymore. And yeah, that quote is great. I really love how insightful and open he was. For me, talking with Torchlight made his work even more relatable.

I think mate that since even today there exist fanzines, that besides reviews people are interested in interviews (there was Masmorra and I'm sure there are 1-2 still active DS only fanzines) especially in our DS genre... It makes you really get the view/image of the artist for his album since, as we've discussed already there are no lyrics in DS and also in my opinion the only "lyrics" is the artwork and the track titles.. Cheers to you making even more and longer reviews!!! If you really think they're too long, make an edit and upload somewhere with a link a full unedited version or anything that works for you mate really..
Second, thank you mate for posting and reviewing "Disciple of Sunlight's Radiance".. Besides the nice review (I liked the vision of the opressive sun that could have been echoed in music, dunno though how it'd work in DS without being too noisy for my taste.. ), I somehow have missed this one... And that's because I'm scanning bandcamp with "Dungeon Synth" tag "newer releases" and this one didn't show up since it has not that tag but only "dungeonsynth" without a space.. So kinda stealth mode if you'd like.. So glad you posted it here!!

Just reading your last review about Radiance's compilation and listening it on Bandcamp. I'm hooked on your review style, in some manner (with due respect to the obvious differences) it reminds me an old blog I'm really fond, Grognardia, an old school D&D blog. By the way, very inspired blog design. Added to favourites on my Feedly.
Please keep firm.

Thanks guys! I'm really, really happy that people read my thoughts on these incredible records. Having a blog feels a bit like a one-way road, so being able to read your responses brings a lot of joy.
Also!
