Our second announced artist, Redhorn Gate, hails from Chicago and has released three demos over the last year. Gundrim the Smith strikes his anvil, standing atop the mighty Zirakzigil. From the lowest dungeon of the highest peak on Durin's Tower, crafting wonderous songs of dwarven power. Songs of a king on carven throne, in many pillared halls of stone, with golden roof and silver floor, and runes of power upon the door. Gundrim is joined by Dalom the Delver, travelling with songs of treasure, down Caradhras southern slopes, through the Mountains of Moria, filled with hope.

Our third announced artist, Witch King of Angmar, hails from New Zealand and re-released his album "...As Decayed Wings Flutter Through The Trees" on cassette through Skaventhrone in February. Goblets of swirling red consumed in the misty chambers of dilapidated castles. The Witch King announces his presence with effigies made from lashed wood, and brings the black mood of the dungeon out into the countryside, where a trail of decay follows him and indifferent locals may change their tune without knowing why. Wielding a combination of nostalgic melody, and subtle vocals calling forth the bleak atmospheres of folk horror, the Witch King of Angmar comes again, bringing ruin, turning hope to despair, and victory to death. His frightful gaze is set upon the Siege. witchkingofangmar.bandcamp.com

Our fourth announced artist, Alder Deep, currently hails from Alabama and released the double album "The Woeful Tale of Hambert Donderogenous" in March. Releasing its horror in chapters, Alder Deep is a master at in the craft of psychological warfare. Crafted in real time with a single pass of synthesizer, looped, layered, distorted and decaying, the dreadful story begins with a descent in search of promised treasure that quickly turns into a claustrophobic exploration of untrod caverns, isolated and without hope. As we traverse the suffocating landscape, our memories become warped and our thoughts are consumed by the murky depths. Terrifying creatures, real and imagined, seem to lurk around every corner until at last we find ourselves in the lair of an ancient evil, The Alderen. Enticed by simple, honest melodies, the only solid thing through the perception of frayed sanity, we realize the surroundings are alive, crawling, swarming in sentience. Alder Deep makes the recognizable traits of dungeon synth more potent and menacing by setting them against an organic, evolving backdrop. Listeners may not even be aware that their fates have been sealed as they are led right into the jaws of this entombed evil. Since the project's bloodcurdling performance at Northeast Dungeon Siege MMXIX, Alder Deep has made several subsequent live appearances in the form of a Northeastern tour. alderen.bandcamp.com/ April 3-5th @ The Raven in Worcester, MA

Our fifth announced artist, Seregost, hails from South Carolina and recently released their 2nd album, The Wytchfinder, in October. Seregost emerged in 2018 with "Halls of a Nameless King", a ominous adventure, released on High Cathedral Records, laden with demons, hidden passages, low brass, and rakish bass-lines reminiscent of the Serpent Riders Trilogy. The project's follow up album expands on it's repertoire, utilizing evocative organ and mournful piano to weave a well-cultivated and baleful journey through the haunted Wolvenwood, and into the Lair of the Wytch. seregost.bandcamp.com/

Our eighth announced artist, Irithyll, hails from Pennsylvania and released the "Walking the Old Path" split w/ Bride on Noctis Productions in January of 2018. Irithyll guides us on dreamlike voyages through long forgotten landscapes. Wearily we make our way through windswept desolation, the air shimmering around us as repetitive melodies lull us further into a entranced state, beckoning ever forward. In August Irithyll made it's debut performance in upstate New York, at Woods of Gallows II, incorporating live percussion and wraith-like vocals. underthemoon.bandcamp.com/al…/the-foreshadowing-demo

Our tenth announced artist, Jenn Taiga, hails from Massachusetts and released "Ascent" in November of 2017. Jenn Taiga is an exceptional example of one of Dungeon Synth's roots, the Berlin-School. Enwreathed by a wall of synthesizers and sequencers, Jenn weaves between them hypnotically, transporting her audience to dimensions unknown. Recently, she has been found pouring over tomes excavated from the depths of the dungeons. Her latest work, documented in a series of live streams, has demonstrated a marked fantasy influence as filtered through the sounds of progressive rock, in kaleidoscopic balance with the kosmische sounds of her early work - creating appropriate accompaniment for forest hallucinations and non-corporeal adventures. Jenn will be on tour at the end of March, alongside an as yet unannounced artist, which culminates at Northeast Dungeon Siege. jenntaiga.bandcamp.com/+

Our eleventh announced artist, Monastery, rejoins us this year for the Siege! Hailing from the mercurial northern shores of Massachusetts they recently released the double album "The Garden of Abandon" on Fólkvangr Records this past March. Inspired by the pre-Raphaelite brotherhood artistic movement and the serenity of beauty and nature, Monastery’s sound is pastoral and idyllic - consisting of both grand and perfectly subtle understated textures built from guitars, arps, pads, and exquisite sound design. Combining dungeon synth with elements of new age, ritual ambient and meditation music, Monastery has made a name for its strong composition and epic track length, drawing the listener into other, more spiritual worlds. The Monastery is built upon the earth, but causes its listeners to float. monasteryhymns.bandcamp.com/

Our twelfth announced artist, Fogweaver, hails from Colorado and released their self-titled debut in April 2019. Inspired by the works of Ursula K. Le Guin, Fogweaver's composition utilizes layered keys & percussion to open a doorway for us to enter the world of Earthsea. Duality and balance is explored as beautiful swelling melodies recede and give way to dark and pensive atmospheres. In the past few months Fogweaver has made a couple of live appearances, including Dungeon Siege West, during which their introspective, melancholy, and beautifully ethereal performances left their audiences awestruck. thefogweaver.bandcamp.com/

Our thirteenth announced artist, Tyrannus von Einhorn, hails from New York and released "Forest of Sempiternal Night pt. II" in October of 2019. Throughout 2019, the Tyrannus legacy grew to include symphonic black metal, dream pop, and witch house, yet maintained the strong melodic content of his previous work - and all of this exploration led to one of the most compelling slices of traditional dungeon synth recorded this year, in Sempiternal 2. Host of the initial Siege, and a veteran of all that have followed, Tyrannus has always brought bombast and focus to his live performances, commanding the audience with stark brass chords and melancholic strings. Vincit qui se vincit. Sic semper Tyrannus mortem inimici. pagodamast.bandcamp.com
