Hello everyone!
First of all, Merry Christmas, Yule, or whatever way you celebrate this time of year, even if it is only resting (I wish you the best with that as well!).
We are Dungeon Synth Zine from Cracow, Poland, and we are goddamn fired up about releasing soon (hopefully). So far, I am not going to reveal too much, since many things can go wrong (as always), but initially we are scheduled to ignite in February.
So why am I writing this? Well, I've been collecting interviews for the first release for the past two months. What I've learnt is that there are interviewees who take very short to answer questions, and those who take very long;) and, of course, those who never answer, and those, who say they will, but never will. I'm not judging, but still, the work must be done. Therefore, I would love to ask you, since there are many artists here as well - would any of you be willing for a facebook interview? It would be wonderful if you had some sense of humour to go for a wildcard question (Skaventhroneยฎ) sometimes , and who are not the type of dark serious dungeon wizard (Castel Jalouxยฎ). Your company would be, among others, Old Tower, Old Sorcery, Galdur, and a few others:)
If so, please contact me here! I'm excited to meet you!
Sebastian

Hello there! Sure I will keep you updated, I just don't want to talk more than I walk;) Talking about physical vs digital, I never really gave it a thought. I mean, it will surely have a printed form in two languages (English and Polish), but the digital for, taking into consideration that the biggest fandom is the US, and that's pretty far from Poland;) seems not to be a bad idea after all. Will keep you posted!

Thank you for considering it mate!!! One of the main reasons I didn't enjoy/purchase Skaventhrone 1-5 was/is that they only send physical, not even a side option for .pdf.. While Masmorra with only unfortunately 2 zines out included digital!! Either way thanx for considering it!!!
p.s. Also, whenever you happen to reply, another question (important personally ) : Is it gonna be Dungeon Synth and related stuff or will it be including other non topic stuff (e.g. industrial, noise etc etc )? Take care!

The title itself will be Dungeon Synth Zine, so no, I do not take industrial, noise etc into consideration, for the obvious reason that I have no idea about those genres;) the furthest I go away from that will probably be Blood Lord (which is half DS, half chiptune).

Blood Lord was great(deserves more recognition among this year's bests really) and I count it as chiptune DS which is an established DS style, I like a lot your direction, DS only, that's good news!! Thanx and keep us updated!!!

I don't have facebook, but you can always email me or dm me here if Psyclopean would be suitable for the zine.

My old favourite album was Dim Carcosa by Ancient Rites, and my nickname since then has been Karkasonne. You certainly have my attention immediately.

If you are more interested in the DS side of Psyclopean, may I suggest Celephais, The Dreamlands, Poetry And The Gods, Voyage Of The White Ship, or The Outsider albums. Other albums are more dark ambient.

Hey Sebastian! Glad to hear you're working on a zine. That's super cool and I hope it goes well. I love Poland--I played a couple shows over there in Poznan and Warsaw with my heavy metal band earlier this year and I really enjoyed the few days we spent there. Feel free to check out my new album from ENCLOAKED if you want to cover some newer material. The album was released in digital form two weeks ago and the lads at Skaventhrone are doing a limited tape for January 2020. encloaked.bandcamp.com/releasesBest, Jeff

I'm listening to Encloaked right now and love it, even though the appearance of guitars made me raise my eyebrow a bit (not a synth thing to do, is it?). I would love to feature you in the next episode. Right now the issue is almost done. I'm waiting for the last strokes which are not up to me. Guys from Psyclopean, Sidereal Fortress and Encloaked: please write me a msg here, if you have facebook: www.facebook.com/Karkasonne Thanks to that we will have a ready anchor for the future! Thank you in advance.

The essence of Dungeon Synth Zine is ready. Just polishing it (as I come from Poland, ho ho, I'm terrible at jokes, please love me) with 10 interviews, 2 articles and a handful of reviews. Stay tuned!
