WOW on this post if anything's like the first track on Maelifell's Untitled tape, as that's all I've listened to thus far. Makes you wonder what the dungeon synth scene was like over there, but then, maybe there really wasn't one yet at the time.

Aaaaahhh endless RESPECT Stéphane F. , it's such a joy when people help other discover such treasures, this is why we all love the internet , also double thanx for uploading them to the beloved Archive.org, another great service for all of us to enjoy... Just by going a look on them I feel there's gonna be much diamonds to discover there, I really don't have enough words for you with this find or with Aurilius demoscene excavation/exploration is doing a service for all of us music and DS maniacs... If anyone starts exploring please give a heads up on some of your findings, I'll personally will go through them all at some point , FOMO is hitting my OCD haha

^Great words there from you, as per usual Indeed there was no "scene", only keyboard demos as side-projects of black metal artists, generally (which was not my case, however). So you were an innovator then!

If anyone starts exploring please give a heads up on some of your findings, I'll personally will go through them all at some point , FOMO is hitting my OCD haha Definitely check out Maelifell's Untitled tape of 2000, as one track is almost cheesy, yet kind of moody video game music, a couple are fast, a couple are foreboding-sounding with kettle drums included, another track starts off sounding like Halloween music, but then adds keyboards and piano to it, and it has a majestic closing with 11, with a flute-like sound to it...well, until it moves onto the bonus tracks, that is. I've only heard the first one of those. Have to see how it *really* ends with the closing four tracks
