Hi there, I make dungeon synth and medieval fantasy music, mostly inspired by my own nostalgia about places, people and events of my past, forever lost... My music is very intimate, mostly influenced by books (the Hobbit, Lord of the Rings, the Silmarillion), old fantasy movies (Dark Crystal, Willow, Legend, Conan, etc.) and role-playing games from my childhood (tabletop : Middle-Earth Role Playing, Stormbringer, etc. or video games : Dungeon Master, Zelda, Secret Of Mana, etc.). All my albums are available on bandcamp: erang.bandcamp.com/You can also find my music on my Youtube channel as well as exclusivities (covers, etc.), official music video clip or 2 hours video: www.youtube.com/watch?v=p99R2G2QowAIf you want to keep updated: www.facebook.com/kingdomoferang/Thanks for your listening! - Erang

What do you think of Erdstall? I personally think his music is is a great example of really dark dungeon synth, the type that evokes doomed quests rather than glorious ones.

I agree with you: it has some deep atmosphere, at the gate of Dark Ambient.

Any info available on that upcoming CD? What inspired a physical release?

dungeonsnake: thanks man, feedback like yours are always welcome and needed ! thekeeper: right now I prefer not to reveal anything about it... I've been asked many times to release something on CD and I wanted to do it since some times. But I've always prefered to focus on making new music, drawings, writing, etc. and I never took the time to focus properly on releasing a CD. Now I guess the time has come. I'm just still questioning myself if I should release an old album of mine on CD... or the brand new one I'm working on which I'm super proud of!

Perhaps commemorate the occasion with an anthology or two album collection? Either way, I'm sure I'll have no trouble finding the motivation to buy.

Thanks for the suggestion: I was also thinking about an Anthology... for instance "The First Age", etc. I'll definitely think about all the possibilities...

I really love the idea of a Tome I CD, but I think putting out your new album on CD would be the best entrance into physical editions. Tome I might be more of a tape kind of release.

I think you could probably fit Tome I + II on a single cassette, then do the new album on CD?
Nice to think that you have an "Era I", as your sound continues to evolve.
