Welcome, amigo! I'm really enjoying what I'm hearing here. Hypnotic, soothing melodies compliment the enchanting synth textures and I find it creates a very pleasant atmosphere over all. Some tracks have more of an ominous feel to them, which adds a very cinematic/narrative dynamic to the album overall as the mood ebbs and flows over these highs and lows. I also find the theme/aesthetic very interesting. It's unique, and I appreciate that. How did you attempt to weave that into your music? What can you say about the creative process overall?

Thank you very much friend! I appreciate the kind words. I feel like owls embody many of the same aesthetics as dungeon synth: dark, mysterious, lonesome. Because of this, I dove in with owls in mind. "Nebulosa" is the species name for the great gray owl. With this release, a story was started, which will be continued in my next release. In terms of the creative process, a lot of the music "just came to me." I fiddled around with some melodies on my bowed psaltry for a month or so, but not really any those made their way onto this release. I pretty much sat down and messed around on my MIDI controller with my story line in mind to create this release.

I'm listening to the album now, and I'm really loving it. Super cinematic and atmospheric. There's also enough variation to make it interesting. And the use of percussion is really smart. Definitely can't wait for what's next! Also, the bowed psaltery is such a beautiful instrument. Any chance of hearing it on an album?

I love the idea behind it, I share the same love for owls. The Great Grey Owl is my favourite type, they are so beautiful and the pattern on their face is very hypnotizing. I like the Sleepy Snow-Covered Town the most from the album, it is a bit minimalistic but the instruments you sound nice. That is for the whole album, I like your sound/instrument choices!

I definitely plan on using my bowed psaltery on upcoming work!

I'm surprised owl imagery isn't used more frequently in dungeon synth, or even black metal. It just seems like a very natural fit. Thank you for the kind words as well. As far as the instruments used, I didn't even download any soundfonts or anything, just the preloaded stuff in my DAW.

Just put out my next release entitled "Lost in a Storm of Snow and Despair." I've realized what I want to do with this project is to guide listeners through a story using the music and track titles. The rest is up to the listener's imagination. No bowed psaltery on this release, I need to find a microphone to record it with. The next thing I'll put out will probably be my track for the compilation. Well here is where you can find this latest release. I would love to get some feedback on this. Hope you enjoy it! link

nebulosads.bandcamp.com/I updated some things in my bandcamp. Cleaned up my album art a bit and wrote up a very short story to accompany each release thus far, for anyone interested.

Glad the stories enhance the music! Perhaps "chapters" would be a more appropriate term here since the two releases out already and at least my next solo release all follow the same story line.
