As the name of the thread says I would like to know what do you think are the best obscure Dungeon Synth projects.

Myrrdin - Glomung Ofer se Weald is the biggest for me. It's definitely in my top five DS albums of all time, and sometimes in certain moments I think of it as being number one. I don't understand why it isn't widely considered a classic.

I don't get why Morketsvind seems to hardly have any support. He only played last year's Dungeon Siege, for God's sakes (which is how I became aware of him).
I found where Out of Season had his Morketsvind I cd (only 500 copies made) for only $7 and his The Journey cd (only 300 copies made) for $10. After listening to them to make sure I wanted them (of course I did, it's Morketsvind!) I thought those were good deals. Now they're both still at the store for only $5 per cd (less if you just get the digital albums, of course, but cds are what I prefer). Why he can't sell 300 cds in two years is a crime against nature. I played both of them to death.

Just listened to it, it's beautiful. Can you think of anything else? Glad you liked it. Here's another: Walpurgisnacht - Die Biomechanische Kriegsmaschine. We all know and love Depressive Silence, but this is another artist from mid 90's Germany that has a very similar vibe and I think is largely overlooked and underappreciated in comparison, and I personally like even more than Depressive Silence.

This artist neatly walks the lines of DS/Dark Ambient, Noise, and Black Metal. Different releases exude certain tendencies more than others, but each one is a unique experience, I think. Was glad to see this album is getting a North American tape release, maybe I'll pick it up voicesoftheainur.bandcamp.com/album/vota-081-landscape-shifter?from=fanpub_fbGotta commend her numerous artworks, band logos, and label releases also. All the other Crystal Voidscape projects are absolutely worth checking out. Maybe it's my personal bias, but it seems too many UK artists in this field really fly under the radar.
