I would like to recommend you, guys, this artist. Ashen Light is considered a black metal act from Russia, once glorious and well-known aboard during early-mid '00-ies, now fallen from grace and forgotten. While their black metal input is quite unremarkable (in my opinion ofc - you may take a wild try to like some of their BM sounds*, and succeed perchance, I wouldnt bet on it tho) they stand some solid ground on making an ambience synth music, right as we like. The albums I want you to hear are "Stary Byliny" and "Slavenskie Vechera" (both from 2001, can be checked out here). The mood of the music is rather biased to "folk/pagan" than to "tower" feel. It stays some steps away from what is usually defined by the Dungeon Synth tag, yet they share some common aestethic. Although it is focused on the simplistic synths it takes a thorough use of a drumkit and you can find some subtle distorted guitars at times as well as black metal shrieks. Not much of these here tho. A lot of nature sounds like bird chirps and stuff. A highlight track for a quick preview: ________________ * - in that case check out their Metallica cover, mainly notable for its synth intro. Quite amusing imho.

This Vecher Pjatiy track is pretty cool, has a really organic sort of sound. I'll need to check out the full albums.

Hmm, I actually have their Песнь Велеса album which I must've listened to... maybe ten years ago?! I don't think I've even heard their other albums so I guess I'll check your link too. According to last.fm I've last heard their Satyricon and Impaled Nazarene covers in '11 and '14.
I have absolutely no recollections as to how they sound without checking but I'm thinking heavy on the keyboards and plenty of Slavonics.
