1. Iron Maiden 2. Nirvana 3. Dead can Dance 4. Joy Division (ex aequo with The Cure) 5. H.F Thiéfaine 6. Pazuzu 7. Death in June / Sol Invictus / Current 93 8. Depeche Mode 9. Carl Craig 10. Pharoah Sanders
I do not listen to them very often (and even for some of them, I don't listen to them anymore at all) but all of them were big artistic shocks, for me, from early teenage years to nowadays.

To everyone with The Cure in their list, I'm curious as to what your favorite album is. I'd go with The Head on the Door.

To everyone with The Cure in their list, I'm curious as to what your favorite album is. I'd go with The Head on the Door. If I had a Top 20 they'd be there. Depeche Mode as well. For The Cure, though... either 'Bloodflowers' (Which was my first album), 'The Head on the Door' or 'Disintegration'. I enjoy most of their albums (Don't particularly dig the debut or '4:13 Dream'), though. Even the often dismissed 'Wild Mood Swings' has one of my favorite songs from the band on it (The opener, "Want").
