I'm a big fan of William Orbit, especially his Strange Cargo albums. Always puts me in a good place.

This might be the koolest thing I've found in years: keygenjukebox.net/It's all music from various keygens. If you grew up using keygens for pirated software, you know what to expect. It's all great.

Forest -- Graveyard (1970), has always been one of my favorite songs. I wish some metal band had covered it, but I guess it's too obscure.
Also on a different note, also from 1970, Cleveland heavy psych band Dragonwyck with Ancient Child. while a bit Doors influenced they seem also really influential on Rocket from the Tombs, Todd Clark, Pere Ubu (a bit less so), you know the early Cleveland punk stuff that retained a bit of a psych element. They shopped their record around to the majors but nobody would sign them, so it was a very limited private release.

Such a great voice, both earlier gothic metal and later experimental alternative:

+1000 Great song and reflects that magical late 80s era!! Another equal favorite of him for me, you probably know it : In a whole different style, talking about TV Shows in the other thread, I got reminded my favorite of 2017, from Twin Peaks revival : I will never forget agent Cooper on episode 5's ending looking hopeless and lost in his amnesia while the song's playin...

I played Windswept nonstop during and after Twin Peaks: The Return. Great melancholy stuff. The full soundtrack and "roadhouse" album were great too. Dean Hurley did some cool stuff as well, on and off the official soundtrack: Angelo Badalamenti, the master:
