Had a big gap from this place, not sure why life I guess. Took advantage of bandcamp Friday to download three titles from Moon Worshipper and the whole Dungeon It. discography (half of which I didn't yet have). So far I've listened to: Spell Leech - Morning Stranger Blood Tower - Posture Magic Dawn of the Dungeioneers Vol. 2
At least this way the people involved get all the money i pay for these releases.

Just found out about this classic yesterday and already listened trough several times. It's so beautiful! I don't use the word 'masterpiece' a lot but this album really is one.
If you haven't already, go through every release from Voldsom. One of my all time favorite labels. Big inspiration for starting my own label, multiple releases in my top 10, great guy, great artists. Definitely time well spent listening. Two more releases planned for the future and then he's closing the doors. It made me a bit sad to find out this great label will close it's doors soon, now when I just found out they exist. But as long their releases stay online on BC I'm fine about it.
Here is another one I really enjoy: Especially the first half of this album is great!
Another interesting find of mine is this: I consider this rather Dark Ambient then DS. But anyway it's from the same cyrcles like Mortiis or Burzum and deeply rooted in norwegian BM. Kinda inspired by this, I work on a second release for WinDGeisT that will strongly lean toward Dark Ambient too.

voidlightecstasy.bandcamp.com/album/heart-of-the-revelVoidlight Ecstasy. Brand new DS act from New England. This is actually a friend of mine who has been in a few bands around these parts and I've been talking to him about DS for a little bit. This is really good stuff. Great atmosphere.

Been reading children's literature like Alice in Wonderland, the Hobbit, the Silver Chair recently and this has been my soundtrack for reading lately: chroniclesofjest.bandcamp.com/album/pastoral-daydreamsSeemingly simple melodies that are perfect for getting you in the right mindset to read these fantastical works.

np HDK 50 β The village in the frozen mountains by KOBOLD
Great one, solid one, no weak songs, in the classic Kobold/HDK RPG inspired style!! 100% delivers what it's aiming for!! Also, listened earlier to another excellency : HDK 64 β Synastria by GREMNA heimatderkatastrophe.bandcamp.com/album/hdk-64-synastria
This one is more into space early electronic style, excellent, another must listen and on a sidenote, it seems the guy's who's behind it is not only Greek but from very close to my own home village.. Regards to him if he ever reads it and if anyone knows more info shoot me a pm!! Since we are at HDK, the one I did not really enjoy from their recent releases is Casiotomb heimatderkatastrophe.bandcamp.com/album/hdk-49-exkursion-in-das-h-gelgrablabyrinth which is strange since I expected to like it but alas, I didn't enjoy it really, nothing special at Casiotomb's debut I'm afraid ! Finally, just caught a new HDK, it currently has 0 buyers so it's as fresh as it gets : heimatderkatastrophe.bandcamp.com/album/hdk-65-bmkh HDK 65 β BMKH by BMKH

Listened earlier to this one Binding Branches by Sunken Grove
sunkengrove.bandcamp.com/album/binding-branchesand I totally agree with kaptaincarbon 's comment on the BC page, really a top to bottom great listening experience, smooth, mesmerizing, hypnotic, you can't go wrong with listening to this one, great job from the artist!! Now listening to this long and epic release : The Dark Svn by Seregostseregost.bandcamp.com/album/the-dark-svnAs I said this is a release of epic proportions both in DS style and time length, coming at a long (and rather unusual for DS) 1:28:19 playtime. I'm currently on the 3rd playthrough today and still digesting it slowly, as it is meant to be. The style here right from the start is that of the Epic, maybe bombastic, slow and both movie and RPG inspired.. While it is inspired by OSTs, I'd say it leans more into the RPG soundwise, and that is a plus. But this is a big beast and certainly needs time swallowing it, I have not being bored a single moment while listening it, but I will be honest in saying that some times maybe things drag too long and I even caught myself thinking I was listening again from the start but alas, it was another song but similar slow tempo that was going. I haven't made up my mind on this one, definitely a solid listen for all, but I think its slow tempo might make it hard for inexperienced adventurers to enjoy.. But I guess the artist being an RPG and ADnD fan certainly wanted it to be for the more seasoned veterans p.s. While I only played some table ADnD (2e) on Forgotten Realms, I played, loved and finished Dark Sun 1 game for the PC, such an excellent game Still remembering the great sword which drained life El's Drinker, which I duplicated before the massive finale endbattle with one of the granted Djinn's wishes!! Great times!!

Just another classic I just discovered in the Dungeon Synt Archives.
Especially the first part of this album 'Ancient Hymns' is very interesting to me. It sounds a bit amateurish and kinda naive but that's exactly what adds a very unique 90s-like charm to it.
