Great stuff as expected. There's something about his compositions that always keeps me engaged, he really knows when to hit you with the feels with that piano too. The melody on "Enrapturing Beauty" is one of my faves ever. I've been keeping Maewyn on replay a lot, great variety and celtic feel.

No bandcamp link for the above emerge though, right ? Np Svärdsed by DrakensSvärddrakenssvrd.bandcamp.com/album/sv-rdsedI always love to discover hidden gems scrolling through the dungeon synth tag at Bandcamp, especially NYP ones that don't showcase many purchases nor comments, being first release too... And this one is one of them, 4 songs that go straight to the point and just offer a nice trip to their world.. Very nice

Due to him streaming his excellent new album of Labyrinthe last month, I was poking around Fogweaver's merchandise and found he had several shirts made, along with cds of all of his albums, all of which were sold out except for only six copies of his Vedurnan album, which I was like "WHAT?!". So after the stream I had to rush a listen through that to make sure I wanted it (of course I did, it's Fogweaver!), so I've been listening to that for a few weeks now.

Very nice Good recommendation, this one feels to me like an approach to traditional Dungeon Synth without overobsessing about “old school” aesthetic. Just quality music.

This is probably old news at the rate stuff cycles through the genre, but this track is excellent. I really enjoy this project.

Thanx emerge , I figured it out since I made too a search to no avail but just in case I thought I'd ask you ! mahrgdidj it's always great when I find stuff in the wild of the ds tag @ bandcamp, very rewarding digging the genre.. Np VA - Melkor's Dungeon - You Meet In a Tavern.... WGR072 the cassettes of which "All proceeds from this tape cassette will go towards the International Red Cross in helping the Ukrainian people during these terrible times." . So besides physical if you're into it you also make a good donation for a great cause in these dark times for many people.. And the music is very nice, big names, fresh names, great music for all tastes and while I'd argue that maybe it could use a mastering/production where sound levels are the same for each song/artist and maybe not have the songs in alphabetical order but maybe try and use them to arrange them in some way (title wise/storywise/musicwise/anything), the music values here and the great cause eclipse this tiny issue anyway.. More than recommended of course

Aaaah great catch myrrys , thanx for noting and fixing me mate, hopefully as much people as possible will get it digital (like me) or physical, I'm repeating but the music is more than worth it!! Welcome elvenwitchcraft , hopefully the signature means you found meaning with DS, I'm sure that's what you meant Welcome! Np downloadmusic.mortiis.com/album/nden-som-gjorde-oppr-rYes some classic (in the whole sense of the word) Mortiis here, sounds as fresh today although from 95, one of the best if not the best of Mortiis, a classic classic required essential The fact that many of the most highly spoken modern artists lean on this sound speaks of the everlasting legacy and impact of Mortiis! I'd love to see him here on the forums btw, he's active on FB/social media but I'd think he'd appreciate the place and slowness/oldschoolness for his/our age
