Keloth - Path to KhalimorDreamy, oldschoolish Dungeon Synth. Most of the time nowadays I listen to stuff I already know/own, or recs by friends and places like this. But going for a deep-dive in Bandcamp and finding "hidden" gems like this is the best. Good find, this is a gem. Especially that last track, such an urgent feeling.

Np The Twelve Temples by Quest Masterquestmaster.bandcamp.com/album/the-twelve-templesI've kept waiting to listen to it in a moment I can fully enjoy, and it was so much worth it.. The album is in the same (great) style of previous works, and it is as much perfect as the previous ones.. Looking at the bandcamp page and seeing no comments on this recent one shows how comments or lack thereof can be deceiving, since this is a top to bottom great album, with the same successful recipe and still always feels fresh new.. Perfectly delivered..

DIM - Compendium I, II, III Well so far everything from DIM is good for my taste. However, you wouldn't call the last one, or even maybe couple of his latest releases DS, would you?

Well I haven't yet got to his latest, but his previous one Compendium Reliquiae, was very very good, as with his previous releases and imho it's as DS as any other, it had some ambience at times but all in all it was pretty much what one would like and expect from the artist... Again, haven't listened to his latest one though.. np HDK 60 † Lone Wolf Ep.1: Flight from the dark by GNOLLheimatderkatastrophe.bandcamp.com/album/hdk-60-lone-wolf-ep-1-flight-from-the-darkWell, expected solid good stuff, exactly what Gnoll (or HDK) fans would expect... Just a couple playthroughs in and it immediately captured the rpg feeling it should..

This group is not a DS act. But it doesn't matter. This 2 track EP is one of the best Dungeon Synth I've heard in a long time. Transcendent stuff and you can really tell these musicians are actually playing and playing with intense emotion. Plus, you can never go wrong with anything inspired by Gene Wolfe's works. eternalchampion.bandcamp.com/album/terminus-est

Great group indeed Veil of Dreams and always happy when Terminus Est is mentioned, some people may always have missed it, great stuff, as great as the traditional heavy metal stuff like Armor of Ire which I love!! np greysleeve.bandcamp.com/album/songs-of-melancholyNice stuff demo compilation sounding as it should, old and rusty!! Thoroughly enjoyable and always returning to it!!

The synths here are so beautifully luscious.
Upon the shores of Acheron (second track) is my favorite track of the whole genre, hands down.

Thoroughly enjoyable and always returning to it!! Oh yeah, I've got this on my wishlist, it's great! Just wish some of the pieces were longer though!

^FVRFVR (is that pronounced "fever fever", by the way?) has some good stuff indeed. If I had to guess, I'd say it was Furfur. For what ever reason I want to keep saying Fervor, even though I'm sure that's not it. I've seen a lot of people use V's for U's in the past, so that's probably what's going on here.

Good point, as I forgot there's the heavy metal bands "Centurion" and "Centvrion".
