I have discovered cloud gaming for myself. I've accumulated a huge pile of games over the last few years that I can't play on my current system and instead of upgrading my system at great expense, I now just stream my games. Sometimes I still have nostalgia flashbacks to the times when I actually held a computer game in a box in my hands, read through the (in the best case beautifully designed) manual and thus owned it in a different way, but those days are long gone anyway due to Steam and co. At the moment I'm playing Assassins Creed Origins (very nice game) and Valheim. Valheim totally fascinates me at the moment. I have the feeling that everything that makes survival games exciting has been taken away and everything that sucks and is boring has been thrown out. I bought Valheim myself recently but unfortunately it doesn't run all that great on my PC even thought I checked to see if it would run beforehand. It's just not as greatly optimized just yet I guess. I didn't return it though because I got it on it's recent sale so when I upgrade my graphics card I will try to run it again because it caught my attention because of it's old school sandbox elements. You have no idea how badly I want to actually play it though!
I barely got into Old School Runescape back in the day with a friend, so I'm trying it out again since I haven't played it since like 2002. So far I'm actually surprisingly enjoying myself, of course with some Dungeon Synth because it just fits any RPG you want a sound-track to.

So I'm enjoying Old School Runescape way more than I should be! So calming with a dose of handpicked Dungeon Synth albums. I think I might play this for a while. I really can see how people get addicted to it like crack.

theHunter Classic (Yes, that spelling is correct.) A fantastic free hunting simulator and FPS. A Windows game that can be run using Steam's proton/WINE hacks on Linux without any significant issues. Excellent game. Free on Steam: store.steampowered.com/app/253710/theHunter_Classic/Official website: www.thehunter.comI rarely play, or even recommend video games to people, but this one is worth playing if you have the ability to be patient and enjoy first-person shooter-styled games.

Excellent choice Karkoth , excellent choice! I played back in the day and LOVED it all the way through near the endgame when some shards aged my chars and if I remember well only one save point and that already with aged party, got to drop it but never revidited.. For years (I even have it original(boxed too) - bought multiple times) I plan to play World of Xeen (M&M4-5+) but back in the day I always left it for "the proper time" and now I'm old and think I never get to play it.. So I should soon I think... If you don't know, there's also Swords of Xeen from that era, certainly circulating around but also included in the classic M&M collections back in the day.. Great series, game, memories, nice man.. Andru I've only accompanied some (tasty tbh) rabbit hunting +, this seems interesting, Free is another plus, thanx for the heads up, I added that to my Steam collection, hopefully I'll get to it.. Currently I'm mostly playing some MtG Arena ( ) and doing random retro gaming excursions on Exodos (PC) and on og Xbox (CoinOPs) which seems to me the standard case mostly for like some years now for better or worse.. Though I plan on playing something good again, I finished earlier this year Red Dead Redemption 2 and it really was AS GREAT as I expected, gritty, a must play experience and wishing for more honestly... My current future gaming plans mostly see me playing through some emulated adventure/rpgs since on Summer that was always the case back from childhood... Bring the recommendations on people !

Been dipping into the β99 Fromsoft first-person dungeon-crawler Shadow Tower. Anybody played this one? Some really wild monster designs. Not sure if itβs just nostalgia, but that chunky PS1 polygon design has so much character. Unfortunately no soundtrack, but good for listening to new albums.

^Odd there's no soundtrack to it. Is it a homebrew? What platform is it on?

Itβs an original PlayStation game, the designer elected to mostly keep music out of it for atmosphere, the intro video has a sick theme though. m.youtube.com/watch?v=qin_dBhDypI

Having never been a console guy I have strangely found myself playing a lot of PS4 lately due to my girlfriend borrowing one from a friend. I have got myself stuck into Fallout 4 which is wonderful fun!

Having never been a console guy I have strangely found myself playing a lot of PS4 lately due to my girlfriend borrowing one from a friend. I have got myself stuck into Fallout 4 which is wonderful fun! Upon the second playthrough of all "modern" single-player Fallout-titles, I was a bit surprised to find I enjoyed F4 the most. On the first playthrough, I felt a bit underwhelmed, but somehow it grew on me. Some of the DLC's are pretty solid as well.

Oh lordy, my Chromebook laptop is so old updates for it ceased last month, so I downloaded a bunch of games for it. One of them was 2048. I haven't played any of the other games yet Man, I see what the big deal was a couple of years ago when that came out for cell phones and I was hearing things about it here and there. Very damn addicting!

So arcadey and over the top for RE, anybody played this one?
