Watched that and am watching the live Ranseur video right now ( www.youtube.com/watch?v=0BcC2uSS24Q). Both very impressive performances. Nahadoth using the loop pedals was super cool. I've considered attempting some sort of live thing with looping, but haven't actually even gotten setup for it yet, so it's great to see that concept action and executed so well. And the minimalism of Ranseur seems perfectly suited to live performance, and was played with impressive accuracy. Great stuff guys, this could be the beginning of something big.

I am at the moment working to make music for my live gig in September. When I make records I am often worried that the music I make will sound to similar to earlier releases or that two songs will sound to similar. But now that is no problem since I think the audience will probably like to hear songs sounding like the tracks of my albums. So coming up with tracks is easy. I just redo the tings that worked out earlier. What worries me now that the tracks needs to be "entertaining" so that the listeners will not walk out on me. So I try not to think like that. The result of battling this worry is me making a 20 min track of the otherwise 10 min one chord ambient track "enhΓΆrningshornet" frΓ₯n "tut i luren". That will teach them!

I recently saw Mortiis live, Australia is not really booming with Dungeon Synth or live performances lol. I was sceptical on how DS could be performed live but I was blown away. My friend who is not really into the genre came with me and I often saw him standing there with his eyes closed. He told me it took him to Middle Earth.

I just did realize something that makes me a little nervous towards the gig. The place will be the old prison in the city where I live. www.sfv.se/filtered/17478/rszww440h225-90/umeacellfangelse1--1015639404-rszww440h225-90.jpgThe live music will be played outside in the prison yard where the inmates had their fresh air exercises or whatever they did there but then there is this little house where i think the guards had there stay. in this small building there is a bar and there they will serve the drinks. I have not yet found a DJ for playing music there so this worries me. maybe I could put together a playlist that could be played there all the time. please help me! please provide me with mixdowns of your music. long long tracks please. and also of course the permission to play your music.

any tip for setting up a Sidereal Fortress live show? I mean: ok with pre-recorded backing tracks, on CD or whatever, but in DS almost each song features a different lead sound...so...do you switch plugins or presets during the show to play the main track live?
