this is one of the songs that had a greatest influence on me. It was the opening and closing jingle of a TV-show about folk and popular culture.....so sad it was ended in 1992

That's not exactly medieval or renaissance music, but that's totally traditionnal : the « épinette des Vosges » which is a French ancient instrument from eastern France. Where I live. I heard it was pretty similar to the norwegian « Langeleik »
