Hail, fellow Dungeoneers!
Let me introduce myself and the project we recently started with my old time friends. My name is Gergely, I'm from Hungary, and I'm a long time listener and maker of all kinds of dungeon synth related music. For many years, the songs made by me and some of my friends was only shared in our circle. Recently we decided to gather all these tracks from our old hard disks and release them. That's how Eldest Gate Records were born.
We started this microlabel to release our old materials and to inspire us to make more new music. Also we would really like to have a place for projects, created by people just like us, making their music only in the dark, solitary chambers of their castle, so they may get together the courage to emerge to the light and share their work with the ever growing dungeon synth community. We are currently a netlabel, with free digital releases ('name your price'), but we are planning to try ourselves in physical releases too. All financial support from the digital sales go back straight into the label!
I'm personally behind three of the projects on the label, Wayfarer (old-school dungeon synth), Inoriand (winter synth side-project) and Abyssu (darker, more noisy and obscure music, but still dungeon related). Future releases will feature albums from my friends too, the next one we are planning is a Tolkien-inspired album by my good friend, Beorn.
As we only started recently and none of us have any former experience in running a label, I'm really looking forward to hear from you, what do you think about our stuff, and also to hear good hearted advices and constructive criticism.
And if any of you feel like we are the right place to share his or her work with the world, feel free to contact us!

Thank you all for reading my introduction and also for having such a wonderful community here and also on facebook!
