Well personally I did like the two ones I've heard from them, "A Wandering Bard" as well as "Greek Mythology" to be honest.. I'd recommend checking them really..

I was looking for the tread "Bad album art that's bad" but since it doesn't exist and I'm not creating one I'll just post this here. When I saw the art I expected the music to be challenging or even fun, but its banal and average, so nothing adds up. Folks are so easily duped.

I'm enjoying a lot this thread. This one doesn't have the "good" part:

This one always gets me. :format(jpeg):mode_rgb():quality(90)/discogs-images/R-8595238-1464749012-8405.jpeg.jpg) Also this. Good because bears are sweet. Then there's this masterpiece. Band is "The Poontanglers"

The original (?) cover of The Fate Worse Than Death is even cheesier and worse/better...

I have to be honest: I don't like their music that much. They're really good musicians, they know several musical languages and have the technique to make it likely... But the result is aseptic. All their stuff has no "soul", nor the vibe of the true folk music they're trying to cover. Sorry about the negative feedback, but that's how their music comes to my ears. The "dungeon folk" guy in the other thread is somehow better, for me. I totally agree. As an alternative to the Fiechters what do people think of Lovidalf with this "Ordo Fantet" thing, I do quite like this one : lovidalf.bandcamp.com/album/dungeon-gothic-lai-rock. As a bonus all the album covers are pretty bad.

Weird gothic/WoD tribal tattoo-ish cover. Looks like something you'd find on a vampire LARPing geocities page:

Damn, what a goldmine. This one is great. The one song I found on YouTube is kind of funny, but not terrible also... :format(jpeg):mode_rgb():quality(90)/discogs-images/R-211322-1375490305-7842.jpeg.jpg)

I don't see what's so corny about Campo Di Marte's cover, honestly. Quite cliché for a band with ties to neofolk and martial industrial, but not that corny. Quite a good album, too.

Campo di Marte is a great album and there's nothing bad about the cover. Maybe cliché, yeah, but that shouldn't be a problem for fans of Dungeon Synth.
