This is a great LLN demo. Sadly Vordb always gets Belketre videos taken down for some reason and its hard to find the audio.

My raw apocalyptic black metal punk project GutterSkull released split tape with ritualistic black metal cybercrust duo VRK from Spain. GutterSkull / VRK - Crawling In Disgust / Filhos Da Ira - split tape Re-release of previous demos as split in two different white and black cassette shell versions. Can be ordered at GutterSkull’s Bandcamp; gutterskull.bandcamp.com/album/crawling-in-disgustTrade possible, including DS of course.

I'm late to the Black Metal party most of the time, so I wouldn't be shocked if everyone already knew this, but i've been listening to this lately and loving it.

I feel like most of Graveflowers releases are overlooked because of how amazing the hyacinth garden is, but ive recently been listening to one of their albums at least once a day, especially long drawn out goodbye .

I don't know why I hadn't listened to them before but recently been listening to the first Abigor album Verwüstung / Invoke The Dark Age. It sounds fucking brilliant and really reminds me of Beherit at times, like Drawing Down The Moon but with a fuller production style. Plenty of great riffs and unhinged bestial insanity, just what I needed!

IMO, the best Abigor material is the demo material to be found on Origo Regium. Plenty of those songs are on Verwüstung/Invoke The Dark Age, but I prefer the demo versions by far even though the sound is - obviously - inferior.

The only Abigor i'm highly familiar with is "Nachthymnen" and I really like that album. Also finally checked out "Slaughtersun" from Dawn. Real good stuff.

Been really enjoying Stormkeep's album from last year, Galdrum. Reminds me a lot of really early 90s Norwegian black metal with those analogue synth flourishes. Last track is gorgeous. stormkeep-odl.bandcamp.com/album/galdrum

Forteresse - Thèmes Pour la Rébellion
I made a quick search and this modern masterpiece was only mentioned in the forum in the best of 2016 metal list of another member who hasn't logged in for a while unfortunately and another who commented on it .. I really liked the record since 2016, the first tracks were replaying endlessly and I enjoyed the whole of it thinking its great. BUT IT IS A FUCKING MASTERPIECE.. As years have gone by, putting aside (beloved) Epic and/or Atmospheric Black Metal, which Forteresse did previously and feels like a different genre, in the FAST and FURIOUS kind of black metal this is as good as it gets... As I said I always return to it again and again to enjoy more and more the raw anger, the rebellious fury, the total music war, I wanna headbang my head till I have no head really To sum it up, for a big while now I've been considering that I enjoy this album more than anything in the subgenre, even the classic stuff in the fast black metal area... Hopefully they release another one in the same direction...
