It's the Abandoned Places guy (Loremaster, Mystic Towers, Zweilicht, Siliniez). He stopped doing AP, but considering he made a new Mystic Towers release after he ended AP, maybe he'll do more for Erdstall. I have a feeling he won't, but I hope I'm wrong. It blows my mind that this is all one person! I'm not actually surprised to find this out, his releases had certain similarities to them, more on the visual side. Nowadays Mortiis, in a way. Anways, kudos to the Kaptain for the DS Digest, I browsed through a couple of editions at work the other night and I am a little surprised to see how well this new surgency of DS has taken off. Not that I'd actually heard most of the new artists but it's good someone is doing the heavy lifting and footwork for us lazy folks! Tallenna

I love your art choices for these articles. One of my favorite times is paging through old school D&D art for each article. I love fantasy art regardless but illustrations from the 70s and 80's were rife with unbridled escapism.

Good article again! I always enjoy reading them and find discoveries that I might have missed. And the D&D artwork is always good.
