I've been blasting that Biglietto Per L'Inferno album since you posted it - really top notch Italian prog and definitely beats out Banco any day!

youtu.be/TbU0XJGrKg8Didn't know of them, but their vocalist and lead guitarist Michele Zarrillo is now one of the most famous italian pop composers around! Check out the guitar leads on this album, technically impressive for those years!!!

I don't know if it's considered as "progressive rock" exactly, but I've always be fond of Mike Oldfield first albums

Jacula/Antonius Rex -- a remarkable band very close to DS in some ways, though active since early/mid 1970's. Progressive metal with mostly organ, chanting, occasional guitar and synth. this I think is their best album.

Italian prog is some of my favorite. Thank you for this and thanks to stormcrow for the Biglietto rec.

Some time ago I had this CD in my car and really re-discovered how good it is: youtu.be/HUPh7eGQcvwVery underrated, indeed! Maybe the best production I heard in the Italian-prog discography.

The riff at 01:45 & 05:35 where organ comes in is one of my favourite buts of music, it seems to "turn everything around" if you know what I mean...

Prog lovers might enjoy this site: vintageprog.com/It seems very old fashioned now, but I discovered lots of great music there about 15 years ago! Also good for the Tangerine-esque space music that many dungeon synthers love.

Le Orme "Uno sguardo verso il cielo" (with orchestra) youtu.be/D3Y0ofxcz7o...found this on a retrospective themed show by Italian national television (RAI). I guess this was something unbelievable in 1972! At least in Italy...
