I am not surprised about it: apart from the "hype" that obviously takes on younger people, DS could be something like a "refuge" for musicians or former musicians which have not so much time to spend studying techniques, playing with a band, doing reharsal 2 times a week... Being over 35 means lots of responsabilities that may go from working 8 hours a day to run a family with children etc. And, at least here in Italy, working as a musician is impossible.
