If you're talking about the purpose of the 'Living Room' board itself, it's just for anything that doesn't fit into the other categories. Not necessarily the hellscape of /b/.

There is an attitude which permeates 4chan of intense cynical irony, which I consider to be not only psychologically toxic in general, but thoroughly incompatible with dungeon synth's spirit of naive romanticism. There might be some overlap among some members here, but I've noticed even less of that attitude on this board than in the facebook community. I don't necessarily oppose 4chan people taking an interest in DS though, because I'd like to think it acts as an antidote to the psychological poison they regularly ingest.
I don't fully understand the difference between 4chan's various subcategories though. I'm sure some are worse than others.

I tottaly agree that 4chan and stuff is intensively toxic. I don't ingest this poisen, and still, i need DS to help me deal with it's huge presence everywhere. DS is truely the opposite.
