Never played that game unfortunately, but I love Warhammer and this music is amazing. If you're familiar with Blood Bowl, I've been considering trying to make some pump-up dungeon synth stadium music inspired by the game sometime :-P

Give me that sweet, sweet dark-&-cool DOS music.
Embrace the darkness! Embrace the cheese!

Moonstone: A Hard Day's Knight Don't know the game, but this was recently shared over on FB. Absolutely loving the synthesized "choir voice" sounds. Also, the music is heavy and dark & doesn't match the cheesiness of the cover art (or title) at all.

Moonstone (on the Amiga) was rad. A super gory medieval fantasy themed fighting game, where knight characters had to combat all sorts of enemies and finally face a dragon. All enemies had their own violent "fatality moves", and there was a special fatality move against each foe. Used to play the shit out of it as a kid.

Aaaah I remember Moonstone from a TV show of the era, I was astonished back then!! An earlier game , classic of its time too was Barbarian (aka Death Sword), one of the first 1 vs 1 Epic Fantasy fighting hames .. Check this animation sequence out :

Oh yeah! I used to play Barbarian 2 on my C64, it came as the covermount game for one of the gaming magazines of the day. Really, really, really frustrating - it was entirely possible to reach the final level without some items that made the game unbeatable - but awesome. And hard.

I don't know if this www.midimusicadventures.com/ has been shared already, but found this yesterday and was so glad I finally was able to get a proper full at least Quest for Glory 1 soundtrack .. Excellent page having all classic both in midi and in ogg format to get ... Still , I will always prefer Quest for Glory 1 on my good old PC speaker, that's true DOS : As DS as it can get and one of my favorites ever.. Great game and soundrack.. A masterpiece really...

This probably feeds more into my metal fanaticism than anything else, but the Megaman X soundtracks are some of my favourites.
The Diablo II background music is some of the best Orchestral Dungeon Synth that isn't dungeon synth ever recorded. And I love, love love the score to Final Fantasy Tactics. I revisited the soundtrack on YouTube after not playing the game for nearly 10 years and the opening title theme brought a literal tear to my eye. Stirring stuff.

Defender of the Crown - PC Speaker One of the greatest "fast" Turn Based strategy ever, great graphics for its era, great atmosphere and very satisfying gameplay!! A deserved classic!! And its soundtrack still brings those great old fond memories of the era : Only PC Speaker is true

Performing forbidden rites of necromancy on this thread yet again...
Was surprised to see nobody dropped the Kings Field IV soundtrack here yet!
This whole collection creates such an enticing, cohesive atmosphere. I love From’s current soundtracks too but I’d kill to get some more songs in this style.
Edit: this one rips too hard not to include.
