Just wanted to say again thanx for all the interviews , just read the latest with Archana, nice one and lots of interesting things to catch (recs, discussion about what lies under melting ice, ++ good stuff)... Keep it going, nothing better that to listen to Dungeon Synth and read about it simultaneously! Thank you! Your enthusiasm really lifts my spirit! The archives have been updated with thoughts on Runecaster's The Sleeping Sword.

Imho classic, essential stuff, tough to even select a favorite but there would be a tough battle among "Quest for Iranon", "Polaris" and "Celephais", the latter two being some of my favorites, to gladly enjoy a nice joint and thinking with lights out.. Totally mesmerising, essential stuff, nice to see them brought up both here and in your blog, must check for all. Aalways reading your stuff and hoping for even more posts (although the Voormithadreth one was kinda short, please do lengthier, it ends too soon ) ..

Great interview! I'd heard of SCH before but brushed them off as just yet another generic dungeon synth label without too much that'd interest me. After reading the interview, I had to check out some of their stuff. It's completely out of this world, I fully understand what Britt was talking about when he said dungeon synth: When I listen to the stuff on SCH, I feel transported. I feel like I'm experiencing something totally divorced from the reality I know. Hasufel in particular seem particularly willing to experiment with dark, strange sounds you don't always here from DS anymore, especially given the popularity of cosy synth and other, usually quite assessable bands. This stuff is amazing! Thank you so much for introducing me to something so interesting, theswordthatsang .

I'm incredibly happy that this interview has reached you, and made you dive into SHC's fantastic material. Britt is such an interesting conversation partner and I wholeheartedly look forward to any new releases!

Since it's been a couple of months, I'm hoping this blog will remain active! Some great interviews and reviews archived here either way, definitely some things I missed as this blog was active.

This blog was excellent. Probably my favorite place to read about DS. Does anyone know what happened to it? I'd love for it to be active again.
