I'm looking for something ocean related, something that sounds like you're Sailing or underwater. I've tried to find some by name but that often doesn't really work the way I want it to. Ur Pale is a great example, Sea Synth Ensemble doesn't sound like the sea

Looking for Japanese Dungeon Synth recommendations. Couldn't really find anything other than Aokigahara and that's from France. Bumping this

toodarkpark - I responded to this at the end of page 3 Yes you did and thanks for that. Korean and done by Shawn Morrissey and Steve Roe, so not really what I'm looking for.

I'm used to listen all the songs form an album in a row, not paying much attention to the titles at firts. Probably because of this, with the fact that I'm not really connected with the sea life in general, I enjoyed this song without the maritime context on my first listenings. Later, once aware of the tematic, it's like I cannot separate the song from the sea. It became obvious. Magnificent song, by the way!

Yeah, I agree I usually just appreciate something for the music and it can stand on its own. I guess without lyrics it can be hard to tell so explanations can be interesting. On that subject, as my Spanish is not good, can you tell me what the theme/concept behind the Umbría demo is? EDIT - just read your Bandcamp page, sorry!

Ur Pale is a great example, Sea Synth Ensemble doesn't sound like the sea This might be a stretch but I was just re-listening to my debut album to compare how my old production differed from how i make music now, and I realised that when listening to this song ornatorpet.bandcamp.com/track/efter-strid-vinterfrid-2 I feel like it could be considered to have an under water-ish feeling, or inside of a cave by the sea since there are a lot of echoes. However, it's probably my most un-dungeon synth-y song I've made, so it might not still be what you're looking for.

Maybe he uses middle-eastern scales?
