Hails! I am Digol, long time lurker of these forums - I promised myself a while ago that I would make my first post one sharing music from my Dungeon/Fantasy Synth project Glomstriden. So please humbly I present to you - The Faded Kingdom. glomstriden.bandcamp.com
I created this because I was compelled to, these are tales that I had to tell. When I finished it I was proud of my work - and wanted to share, so I've made the tracks as good as I can and put them on Bandcamp. I'll now allow myself to post a bit more often, I'm a fan of many projects by artists who post here! If you enjoy The Faded Kingdom and you know someone who might like it - please do consider telling them, I don't use Facebook or any social media so your words are gold to me. Thanks! If you really enjoy the record, I've had some tapes printed - these are on Bandcamp and I will send out next year, I think they are quite handsome...

I redeemed code pxer-ktzv. Thank you!
Just listened to the first two tracks and they sound great. Gonna have the rest on while I do my morning deliveries in the foggy hills of Yorkshire, seems to fit the atmosphere well.

Having repeated listens on this one and came back to report : This is a gem and I think it is probably influenced by the 90s era DS.. From the sound to the sad and melancholic atmospheres, even when the tempo gets faster(later songs), it is transporting you to its own setting with its thoroughly enjoyed tunes .. And while I'm no longer an analog collector, it is way fit for its cassette release.. All in all, very nicely done, this is gonna spin for a while... Already looking forward to listening even more !! Only minor complain I could find was that the ambience that was being worked on Unyielding Mountains Of Mourning was completely destroyed, and the song with it by the effects on the last moments which sound out of place to say the least.. But otherwise all other songs are solid strong and more than pleasing to listen!! Thumbs up on this one!!

Thanks beforedust, much appreciated! And thanks stormcrow - please let me do know any thoughts! I find anything, positive or negative, very useful and inspiring. So: yesterday, as I came back from the gym, I sincerely had a GREAT time listening to your album. My thoughts are almost the same of those you can read about the Morphic Sun album: you're moving through the most "ambient" ways, but staying even more true to the DS imagery (I feel track #4, for example, close to some episodes from the " General Winter" album I released as Il Generale Inverno). At first, the coming of the drum machine loop on track #6 surprised me a little bit, but thinking back of Kirkwood it's definitely not that unexpected...
