Hi,
I was wondering if there were any resources, such as Facebook groups, etc., dedicated to helping aspiring DS artists get feedback for their work that they haven't released yet.
I was thinking the primary medium would be screen captures of DAWs, short audio clips, etc.

There is a Facebook group called "Dungeon Synth Producers Forum" that would probably be of interest to you

Ops, sorry, now I'm realizing that you are looking for other kind of infos. More "technical". There are videos about plugins, effects etc on my channel, though. Yeah, FB group is also a very good resource!

Thank you both!
Naturally, would this forum be a good place to post things for feedback? Stuff like "does this even sound like DS", etc.?

I'm kinda off topic but while it's true that this forum has seen more active days, I prefer the "Stability" of things here, in that they stay here available , for ALL, even unlogged users, forever, or as long as Proboards is up to be honest.. Not that it will outlive facebook, but facebook pages were and are a mess, they are only good for current recent posts etc. etc. I suggest we keep this forum active, much better here for every purpose...

I agree. The DS fb environment has become pretty toxic and lame. Definitely would like to see more activity here instead, for sure.

I do wonder how much of it has to do with how Facebook is structured vs just sheer number of active users. Unfortunately I think we'd probably be dealing with a lot of the same stuff here if this board got big enough. I prefer the board for a lot of other reasons though so I'm going to try and start posting more.

I think there are endless pluses in using the forum medium .. Much more organized here you can for example find easily specific threads on what you're looking for with many posts (=information) even years old.. Or for specific example I think it's great that each artist here has mostly his own forum thread so you can reread past discussions, it's all there usually , in general information is better organized here than in facebook groups in any way.. It's just that damn proboards has these ad-directers spam on outside links, adblock remover reminders etc etc, but other than that which is a platform choice rather than general forum problem, this forum for me is way better than the FB groups...
