Greetings all!
After a lifetime of frustration trying to get bands off the ground I decided to dedicate myself to synth music back in 2018. My first release was an EP and it was an uncomfortable mix of synthwave and Carpenter-esque (John that is , not Brut...) soundtrack type sounds. I'll not share it here as it's really just the sound of me finding my musical feet on a new instrument...
In January of this year I released an album, and although I really consider what I do to be more in the vein of fantasy synth, I think there are sounds in it that will appeal to those who appreciate the glory of DS. It took me a long time to make and I'm really happy with it. I'll never be one of those guys who can put out multiple releases a month and I'm certain that's going to hurt my chances of finding an audience but still...

...as I promised, here's my thoughts. As a foreword, I tell you that I love this Tangerinesque approach to synth music, even if it gives me more New Age vibes rather than Dungeon. I tried to do something very close to this in my "Vette Inquiete" album ( siderealfortress.bandcamp.com/track/la-grotta-di-merlino), maybe it could be of your interest. Anyway: your work is definitely very well done, it flows effortlessly, also the step-sequencer parts are pleasant. Track #2 is the weakest one for me, but it does not mean that it's bad: just my taste. What is for sure, is that I will return to your album more than you may imagine. I can learn a lot from it

I'm just checking out your music right now and it's clear that you are a masterful sonic architect. Reading that you appreciate my work is wonderful!

So I gave it a good listen today, thanks again for the code to download.
I really enjoyed this and will definitely be listening again soon. My favourite track was A Drink with The Green Man. Some really nice sequences and just seems really well made. Some really nice effects too.
Iβd love to know what you used for the sounds in these tracks?

Hey, Jorvvik, thanks for the feedback, I'm really glad you liked it.
All the synth sounds and sound effects on the album came from a Korg Monologue, mostly played straight in through an EHX delay pedal, but occasionally sampled so I could play chords and stack sounds.
Drum sounds are from a Boss DR550 drum machine, (sampled and then pitched down to make the drums sound bigger), a freeware VST called Ocet, and the Monologue again.

Ahh very interesting. Iβm gonna have another listen today and have in mind that itβs the monologue. Iβve been looking for a small mono synth to add to my set up for a while now.

I like the Monologue sounds on this! Crafty work to sample it and make it polyphonic. I'm enjoying the tunes so far.

Hey there friends, I'm currently working on new material for a 2nd album, and I've decided to upload tracks to youtube as and when I finish them.
Eventually I'll gather them together and put the album out into the world, but for now if anyone wants to hear my latest pre-release stuff, it's on my YT channel.
