Music and art cluster around similar ideas, even when made by different people at different times. Seems to happen in threes most often. Share any clusters you notice!

Sorry, I've got no trilogy (but will try to think of one), just wanted to say ESTOC is amazing, thanks for introducing me to them. Also that Nuovaera is not bad, he may have a future in DS...

Also that Nuovaera is not bad, he may have a future in DS... thanks to you! Yes, ESTOC is a really good album, maybe it lacks of "hooks" but it's very well played, nice sounds selection as well. These three albums are definitely NDSB, but I think they worth to be mentioned anyway, as an hypothetical "idyllic trilogy"...

Man, this could be a really interesting thread. Yearner have a trilogy of albums I feel work as a trilogy (Winternight, The Second Howl and Forsaken Wolf) as all share the same motifs, synth sounds and these long tracks that're just field recordings of walks out in the country-side. Very eerie, quiet stuff and they've been some of my favourite albums for years. Of course, that one was clearly intentional and not really what you're looking for. I want to stay on the lookout now and try to find some of these!
