This happened though. Not sure what happened here. I'm assuming the record kept hitting against the top enough in transit that it started to wear through the top. Pretty annoyed, and now the record is sold out.

On the topic of defects and damages, I'm just going to warn you now that the Einhorn cassette sounds a bit different/warped in terms of the noise component. Like all the synth portions dubbed normally but the noise sounds a bit warped. I'm just letting you know in case you're concerned about the sound once you get it. If you're like really peeved about that we can try some sort of refunding or cancellation or something but I just don't want you to be disappointed.

Tyrannus, At least everything else is in great condition. Can still play it, zine is nice. I'm extremely doubtful he has extra printed jackets, but I'm going to email him. Don't worry about the tape. I have the flacs from the bandcamp, so if I really need to redub it myself I can. What are you dubbing on?

Essentially I'm just plugging my tape recorder into my computer and recording onto type 1 cassettes. I feel like there must be a better system and I'm totally open to any suggestions. I'm not planning on shipping until Monday at the soonest so I can theoretically try a new technique in the interim! to clarify: using an aux cord I've been plugging my laptop headphone jack into my tape recorder's microphone jack

One DIY method that might be better quality is to get a CD/tape stereo and just record the CD onto the tape. I think that's the standard low budget DIY method. I use an Eiki 7070 deck. They're pretty affordable but the quality is hit or miss. I recommended it to Nathan and the one he bought had a broken CD player. I guess I got lucky to get a working one. Works fantastically if you get a good one.

I bought the Depressive Silence Mourning LP from someone and it was sent with a couple of cassettes, and wrapped in a way that it got a bit warped also...I tried to press it under some heavy books evenly distributed across the record (in the sleeve, of course), and it didn't completely fix it, but it does reduce the warble on my turntable. what is that record? I dont' recognize it.

This is the red 2x LP version that comes with a zine. There's a black version still available but it doesn't come with the zine. Highly recommended.

Yeah that Golden Dawn split is awesome. I've only ever streamed it on bandcamp but I can imagine on vinyl it'd sound even better!

Got my copy of the Aperion / Golden Dawn LP today, too. No seam splits like yours but definitely a couple of banged up corners. I'm sort of surprised Seed Stock shipped these out with the records in the sleeve. I rarely see that.
