Post the names of your beloved releases that you can't find, in hopes they are out there for someone to post here, or be darkened with despair!!

This is a great idea for a thread. Lots of old BC out there that have just been lost to time due to BC's inability to catalog very well (even that 'camp explorer' site has it's limits).
I also recommend anyone looking for lost stuff to install Soulseek, since there's a good chance it'll be on there. It's a longstanding p2p file sharing platform, essentially you choose what files you want to host for download (which makes you keep a clean file library). I've found all kinds of rare stuff on there. Have been using it for maybe 15 years now.
In terms of Verminaard, I think John requested that the video uploads of that album from DSA be taken down a while ago, and it's been off of BC since maybe 2017. Try out Soulseek since it was definitely a popular album at the time so someone's bound to have it, and if not, I could probably wrangle te files for you.

Soulseek rocks. I abused the hell out of it before Bandcamp and Youtube became the norm for sharing music. Still fire it up once in a while and it works great

I've been using Soulseek for years, sharing old things that were hard to find to me. But these ones never appeared:
Alchem [Poland]: Morninglight-the Beginning Anam Cara [Germany]: Celtic Wintersilence Bolverk [France]: Nature... Dreams [France]: Astral Journey Heiden Ara [Finland]: Enne Muina Mortland [Belarus]: Stronghold Nord [Germany]: Ewig Winter October [United Kingdom] : October Slovisha [Russia]: Skazki Snaga [Belgium] : Autumn Night Snaga [Belgium] : Wintersolstice Starlight Minstrel [Australia]: Chapter 1: A Serenade of Stars Under the moon… I'm dying [Canada]: Dreams of My Majestic Landscape
Of course they are not old deleted Bandcamp releases, all of them are cassettes from the 2000s or before, distributed by Elven Witchcraft (Latvia). I'm not even sure if they are DS or not. But I've found many others of them from the 90s and 2000s, not only thanks to Soulseek, but also to blogs like Dungeon Excavation or Ascoven.

Verminaard - Wardens of a Light-Starved Realm I cant check soulseek for these since I don’t have a computer, but if anyone has these releases please let me know! I doubt that Fairy Ring will be on slsk since someone would have to be the first to rip it, but I'll check on all those later. Sorry to everyone whose been waiting for me to check if I have Wardens saved still curwenius, the ascoven guy and I have been looking for that Alchem tape forever, but no luck. I just know it's going to be some kool neofolk DS hybrid. Maybe one day.. I actually have the Anam Cara tape that I need to rip still or Dungeon Excavation. It's kind of DS, but not really. It's more like a weird long ambient folk tape. Still interesting though.

As far as Verminaard's - "Wardens..." album is concerned, thankfully I had it ripped in a corner from the youtube channel (while it was still up), so at least we have that, worry not... Nothing though about the rest of the releases are unknown to me from a first look.. I do also have a long "to find" list but I ... need to... find that "to find list" first lol ... As for the general problem of releases disappearing even for buyers on bandcamp, I've written already that nothing beats having your own local stored files and archive of music you like... Nothing really and DS with its today here gone tomorrow mentality of more than enough releases it certainly pays off.. Regarding file sharing, I never understood how soulseek works.. Maybe I couldn't find something basic but all I saw was a mess of channels and for example regarding Dungeon Synth I couldn't find anything COMMON , let alone rare stuff... If anyone can drop a few hints, it will be appreciated mostly.. My own experience is that at least there are stuff available in a couple of torrent trackers and also few stuff, mostly old scene releases of 90s classic stuff on DC... Other than that, it was Asmodian Coven and out people's blogs here that got me to find lots of stuff..

Just more examples of how fleeting everything on the Internet is. People made fun of me storing mp3s on the hard drive. If more people don't start zines, so that we have all the history of DS on paper, memory of many records, even great ones, will vanish from the face of the Earth.

Well, I'm tempted to say that unless you plan on releasing at least the past issues as a .pdf, in due time, it will probably not survive.. Although again I'm pretty sure there are archivers even in the DS realms even scanning and circulating zines as much as tape rips... But still official is always better..

It is within the realm of possibilities really. There's so much to do right now though for a single person, it verges on impossible. But who knows, maybe one day.

It is within the realm of possibilities really. There's so much to do right now though for a single person, it verges on impossible. But who knows, maybe one day. Nice to see you considering this! You could always just release back issues, for example when you release #3 physical, you could make available #1 digital.. This way it wouldn't hurt physical sales , they would lose minimal value if that's of any interest and I think anyone could benefit, especially Dungeon Synth since it would have a great outreach this way! Regards!!

There's actually a repress of previous issues in smaller quantity with every new release, since there's always an inflow of new readers with a new issue. Right now I'm balancing between "I want everyone interested to have the possibility to read it" and "I want to keep it underground".

Here you are, patient thread, Warden of a Light Starved Realm:
I did actually find this on soulseek, didn't have the files of my HDD. Always look a few times at different points in the day! It's all dependent on when others are online.
