Good ideia. I think that a great portion of people got into dungeon synth through black metal (me included). I've been working on a black/death metal project called Tyrannicvs, and it's all about Roman mythology and esoterismo. A CD is coming out soon on a Brazilian label. I'm currently working on recording a demo for a new project called Fantôme Noir, which is much more "cold" sounding. Here's a link to Tyrannicvs bandcamp : tyrannicvs666.bandcamp.com/releasesFor Fantôme Noir we'll have to wait a little longer.

I'm listening now! Very cool! Yeah I'm surprised this thread hasn't attracted more attention...I'd think almost everybody here would be doing black metal too!

Hope some others projects pop up on this thread, cos I'm really interested in finding out some new black metal as well. Glad you liked Tyrannicvs man, I hope to have the cds here soon enough. I'll probably start working on a new album later this year. Just listened to your project as well, and I'm really enjoying it. Do have some physical stuff for it?

Seems strange to me that not more people are sharing their BM. My black metal project can be found here at badnoiserecords.bandcamp.com . My project is called Evig Hat and all though the extensive library of albums might seem frightning at first I assure every album has a distinct sound and they range from classic black metal to the most experimental.

Ok, so here is a demo track I out together for my collaborator/drummer in Sceleratus: Still more synth to do, vocals obviously, and the real drum track. Progress is at a halt right now because my collaborator is going through some rather severe family issues. Sceleratus - The Impuissant Grip of Abraham I am actually tracking drums here in a bit (started yesterday) for a solo mid-paced black metal project that is as of yet unnamed.

A couple of years ago, before I started Chaucerian Myth, Wraethean and I started a very short-lived Black Metal project. We only ended up finishing one song, but I'm very proud of it, and working with them was an absolute joy. Probably the best collaborator I've had musically, and a very good person overall. The song is called "A Book of Showings," based, of course, on the book by Julian of Norwich. It is very much raw and demo-quality black metal, but I still enjoy the way it turned out. Wraethean: Guitars, Drums Me: Guitars, Vocals, Dungeon Synth parts Link to song here: www.dropbox.com/s/fgad7qebuqj99eg/A%20Book%20of%20Showings%20%282%29.mp3?dl=0

Nice stuff there! I usually steer clear of anything tagged "DSBM", but I like this. And the lyrics to Banja Luka are very interesting (and good)!
