I am growing tired of waiting in 2b2t queue for hours to play on a decent mcserver. Does anyone have a computer up strong enough to handle a mc world of our own? I would love a minecraft world to play with you guys.

I started a Realms server a few years ago, but I think only one person from here actually showed up, and nobody including myself really got established. I really binged on Minecraft earlier this year so it might be awhile before I fall back into that addiction, but if someone were to make a long-running DS Minecraft server I think that would be awesome and I'd definitely sink some hours into that eventually.

Yeah. I understand. The addiction are fluctuating. Mine is high at the moment. Realms? Is that hosting?

Yeah, it's the hosting offered by Mojang. Doesn't allow mods and I'm sure there are cheaper options, but it definitely seems like the most convenient to setup.

Realms has a pretty low player limit - 11 players. I set a server up for my workmates earlier this year (I actually got my employer to pay for the server - and for the game for anyone who wanted to play!); it's pretty simple if you know your way around a server. Or do as I did: there is a ready Ubuntu Minecraft server template in the Azure Marketplace. Simple as a single click and some configuration settings, and everything runs in the cloud,

I'm actually have a pretty powerful PC just chilling unplugged. If topic is still relevant I can try to launch it as server. Always wanted to have own server for friends anyways.

I would play. A lot every 2nd week when I don't keep the kids. Medieval, fantastic and dark dungeon themed.

So I'm finaly done with server setup, I've desided to go with forge version, slightly modded for more contents. To exclude version related problems, I desided to share mods in a single archive.

You will need exactly forge 35.1.10 cause it's only version I was able to run without weird crashes and bugs on arch linux machine.

Alike 2b2t, there is no rules, no private zones and no custom starting zones, everything is wild and fresh.
Report any issues you stumble upon. Let's see how it's goes

Can you give me a explanation on how to join? I don't really understand how to run all the mods

Yea, I'll try.

1) Install forge. Instructions: www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/how-to-install-minecraft-forge/ (this is works if you own the game I think, otherwise you will need sort of launcher, I could share mine, but it's in russian )
2) Locate mods folder, It's where you installed minecraft, it may be in C:\users\%USERNAME\AppData\Roaming. Extract archive from link I shared earlier to your mods folder.

It's basically it, It should work after. I checked log, saw 3 connection tries, logs says that you didn't installed forge.

Mind forge version you need version 35.1.10. I also included it in google drive link from earlier post.

upd: I reupload mod archive cause I added few things

I feel your pain, and sometimes the queue is a tough process. I met them at many good Minecraft servers and in other games as well. The good way to go is to look for an alternative server with a low population but with stable versions and a good community. I suggest you look at this site minecraft.buzz, I'm sure you will find a good server with this source. Right now, I'm playing at play.blossomcraft server, read the server overview. If you like it, we can play together if you have free time. Have a good day, brother!
