THIS is a bit different!
The first time I saw this thumbnail on YouTube, I was like "what the hell is Napalm Records doing releasing a commercially viable song (obviously, due to the title) called 'Dance'?" Because for a while I thought they just had artists like Nervosa (by the way, check out how gorgeous their original bassist/vocalist looked in several of the shots! Plus it's decent thrash). But that was before I found out they don't just produce a certain brand of metal or two, they've branched out quite a bit (as the above proves!).
This definitely goes under the heading of "what the hell did I just watch?", maybe even a couple of times before you "get it". However you look at it though, it is pretty funny, at least!
Along with yelling and metal growls, there's also some ska with clean singing, then onto funk in less than three minutes.
About a year later (something just made me think of them today), I still don't know what a "bomba" is
Bit more serious and weird on this one, which might seem out of place unless you're familiar with their early material
Speaking of which...early video of theirs. Also a bit serious (the sense of humor would come later)
One wonders how long they'll be able to deliver a mix of different styles and still make good music though. Scatterbrain also had the very good musical chops, a sense of humor and wide range of music genres but they went bust after three albums. Time will tell with these guys (and girl) I guess.
