Hello all I combined complex rhythms with a dungeon synth atmosphere. I think it's a strange but interesting idea. And it's all inspired by the mystical atmosphere of the swamp camp in the Gothic game. Formula: drums/bass with distortion + cyclic lo-fi melodies + 160-170bpm magiasna.bandcamp.com

This is very interesting, a bit strange on the first listen, but after a few more I am starting to like it quite a bit. It doesn't really sound like drum and bass or dungeon synth to me, but just like its own original thing. It is reminiscent of the keller synth type stuff, but also seems completely unrelated in spirit (a good thing). I liked track 3 (Видение третье) the most, but all these tracks are good I think. They have moments where they really get going in a captivating trance-inducing way, almost like black metal.

I agree that it's not really dungeon synth or drum and bass... I am writing now a second mini album and I will try to use more low horns, mystical synths and maybe guitar melodies to get even closer to the dungeon synth atmosphere. I just recently discovered keller synth and I didn't like it at first. But despite the goofy sound, there is something about it.

Please let me pay you for this album I think it's really cool and I am always willing to support genre crossovers between Dungeon Synth and bass music The important thing for me in this crossover was not to turn into a comedy. Music should always be serious, even if it combines opposite things. Because I really imagine that this is the kind of music playing in the heads of the swamp camp people in the first Gothic. My releases will be free, I'm from Russia and can't connect PayPal yet. But I can send you a code to download/add to your library in private messages.
