Can't catch them all! Too little time to listen to the amount of quality DS comimg out these days as well as all the other music I'm into, if anything I need to slow down. Correct, I also think the same, and left many releases behind for the same reason. My post was actually meaning that the artist is not getting the attention he deserves, in these days of sold-out-in-a-minute releases.

sceptreofthefadingdawn.bandcamp.com/releasesThis is a recent discovery I've made and it seems they're a fairly new project from Sydney, Australia. Very minimal and sombre atmosphere. Maybe leans more towards dark ambient than ''pure'' dungeon synth but still excellent - recommended!

A classic from 2017, one by one all excellent songs, 20 songs not even one weak... Masterpiece in the rpg inspired DS style.. Quest Master - Lost Songs of Distant Realms: Volume One questmaster.bandcamp.com/album/lost-songs-of-distant-realms-volume-oneNo wonder Out of Season snatched the follow up and released it, the above is NYP, no more words needed, excellency..

Splendorius - Tearful Misty Woods This is a good one!! Splendorius always delivers but this specific one release is not talked about a lot and it's a shame.. Also, great respect for Splendorius for putting it on NYP this time!! Now playing : Solanum - Spheres of Time rerelease unbornprod.bandcamp.com/album/spheres-of-time .. A classic one!!! Bought it ^^^ yesterday Is it me or it is slowed down a bit, very apparent really ? Time length can't be used since the old release is on tape, the two rips circulating from Asmodian Coven's page... But there was a CD rerelease a few years back by Hollow Myths of Canrith I think ? Anyone got it and was it clean version and on par with the tape one ? Any idea anyone ? Still, feels kinda new listening it on as crystal clear as it gets but slowed down a noticable bit.. Interesting at least to review the song .. p.s. Actually I'm thinking if the tapes circulating actually a master tape was recorded on the old era tape kinda rotating fast(happened quite a bit in low cose double cassetes players that was used to copy) and eventually all copies are faster accidentaly and we are used to the "fast" version... Anyway only way to know if it's brought up somehow to the original members which apparently are active again giving live shows...

Wow, I didn't know I'd post the "thread-ender" post in this one.. Anyway, I suppose noone knows for certain the case with Solanum's rerelease.. So to advance the thread : Just gone through this one aldeth.bandcamp.com/album/old-spirit , that has got no attention I think, a 14 minute kind of dronish sound that remained interesting even after more than few repeats!! Check it out if you're into the style for certain.. Aaaand np dungeonlorefoundation.bandcamp.com/album/eternity , despite the "2011" release date it was put on Dungeon Lore's BC very recently along with similar cases, and first listen brings a good old vibe.. Will go through repeated listens for sure..
