Hello, in the Facebook group today there was some discussion of Christmas DS, and the idea of a compilation of Christmas carols done the Dungeon way. Would anyone be interested in putting a little comp together? Feel free to brainstorm here!

Yeah gonna do some research on some of the more modal, spooky sounding Christmas songs. I'm guessing a lot of wassailing tunes could fit, and some of the more reverent religious ones tend to have some creepy vibes. First two that come to mind are "What Child is this?" (Tune of Greensleeves) And Masters in This Hall.
I also don't know if I'm the right person to do this, but I like the idea of somebody doing a really doomed out version of a modern, jazzier carol.

Odd, I was just thinking of trying the Gloucestershire Wassail

Incidentally, I am reminded of a discussion from last year as to which Xmas songs could also be great horror film names. In the Bleak Midwinter and It Came Upon a Midnight Clear were the two winners.

I am planning one Christmas release and one Naitivity of Christ release. If I do not make it or realize the time is running out a Christmas compilation could be the answer.

I had hoped to hear something like that from you. Good news. Been working on the Gloucestershire Wassail today. Can't say it sounds creepy, but certainly in line with Morihaus's core sound...

I've been thinking of doing a DS version of "Good King Wenceslas" for a while now, so I'd be in.

Is this idea still going? I would be happy to contribute a cover of something over the next couple of weeks. I think 'God rest ye merry gentlemen' would go down a storm in dungeon synth style.

I have finished my track this week, so if it is happening, I am ready.

I've started a cover of god rest ye merry gentlemen (entitled 'God rest ye merry goblinmen). Any ideas as to how to compile this? And should we advertise on the Facebook group to see who else would like to chip in?

I was envisioning a digital release but honestly Iām probably too busy to organize it this time around. I will gladly pass on the reins of this sleigh to another, if someone wants to

I'm happy to try and organise it, not sure how to distribute it though.
